You will also find this unit to be an extraordinary value. This roomy condominium offers a large living room with two extremely comfortable futons and plenty of seating. There is also a large "separate" bedroom with a king size bed and a second TV for children or other guests (so you're not all in one big room).
This unit is probably the most fully equipped unit in the entire complex, with so many little personal and important necessities provided for you. Where else could you even have usage of a metal detector for more fun on the beach' From the moment you enter, you will be pleased with the beautiful artwork, the romantic bed tray with a rose just for you, shampoo, beauty soaps, coffee, foil, dishwashing liquid, toys and games for the children, VHS movies to watch on that occasional rainy day, the gorgeous black leather bedspread.... One trip here, and I guarantee you'll want to return year after year.
You will truly enjoy the view from your private, oceanfront balcony as you watch the dolphin playing in the early morning sunrise! Take a drive or stroll down the "World's Most Famous Beach," or go anywhere for a dollar with public transportation at your doorstep. There is so much to see and do in Daytona Beach! And remember, Mickey and all his glory is just an hour away. Pleasant stay but amenities misleading

I stayed in this condo for 3 nights in mid august. I found the booking process easy and satisfactory. I thought the place looked very nice when we arrived, and overall it was a very nice stay. I was however very disappointed with a few things. One thing I was disappointed with was some of the amenities that were advertised were no longer included with the rental, beach chairs and beach towels to name a few. I was also disappointed by a sliding glass door that was not working very well and required muscle and creative thinking to get it to open and close. The last thing that disappointed me, were the linens. It was great that there was a king bed and two futons, but finding linens for the futons was an ordeal. After extensive searching in cabinets and drawers, we found the linens in a garbage bag in the bedroom closet. We only found one thing that could pass as a blanket (it looked like curtains) for one of the futons, and we never found a blanket or comforter for the second futon. I would recommend staying here, but I would definitely advise making sure with the owner before hand that these issues have been taken care of!

run down trashy condo

First of all this condo was the worse site that I have ever seen on Daytona Beach. They are in the midst of doing construction and it is in the worse condition that I have ever seen. I have a family of five and we had made a RESERVATION back in Feb.and it was supposed to be for a 2 bedroom w/ 4 queen beds and when we got there we were informed that the room was unavailable. So we decided to look at the room that was available and it was the trashiest room that I had ever seen, and also we were supposed to of gotten a room that was ocean front, and if you can already guess that did'nt happen either. We talked to management and he was of no help, stating that they were under construction and had no other rooms available. We decided to look for another place to stay and ended up receiving a refund on the first night stay that we had already paid for. I would not reccommend Hawaiian Inn to anyone,and before you reserve anything online know what you are looking at.This condo was trashy.

Overall a Good Time

My family and I did enjoy our vacation. The condo was clean and stocked with everything that we needed. However, there were a couple of things that I was dissatisfied with. First, the bath/shower water temperature would fluctuate terrbly bad and there was major construction going on while we were there. The hotel website didn't even mention that there was anthing going on but luckily our booking agent told us something about it. She did however tell us that it was just minor and we wouldn't even be able to tell. To me, closing off half of the hotel for renovations, is not minor. But once again I will say that overall our family vacation was definitely enjoyable!

We came in for the race and I have to say that I was a little let down when we arrived. It wasn 't a dump or anything I just thought from viewing the pictures that it would have been a little nicer. Our condo was newly renovated so it was pretty nice. The resort needed some updating though. The elevators did not have a/c and were hot and sticky and the laundry was small and hot. The resort was clean and kid friendly. On the weekend there was a poolside DJ that played music and games with the guests so that was fun.Since we rented from an individual we did not have the luxury of housekeeping and we did not have enough garbage bags or toilet paper for our entire stay, but we managed. I thought the owner should have provided more than one garbage bag per garbage can and one roll of toilet paper. Overall, the people were friendly and we had a good vacation

This place is great, and the owner keeps her units the epitome of clean. I was very impressed...I'm a clean freak! Metal detector needed batteries or something, but all in all... a fantastic vacation! Thank you, Mrs. Jones for the best ever. We will be back!

disappointment

We rented unit #208 and were disappointed in the accomodations. The bathroom was dirty and rusty and in need of remodeling. We had to buy toilet paper, kleenex, paper towels, alum foil, garbage bags, salt, etc as soon as we arrived. The kitchen utensils were sparse, old and dirty and the rooms were not very clean overall. Beach towels were not provided and we had only a few hooks on the back of the bathroom door to hang anything. The A/C unit in the bedroom rattled so we didn't use it and the ceiling fan was also noisy. The TV in the living room had a terrible picture and the remote didn't work so we only used the TV in the bedroom. The metal detector didn't work even after a new battery. The amentiies describe a grill and a dishwasher but there was none at the unit we rented. There was even a sign in the room telling us not to use anything in the cupboards including tea and saying everything was inventoried before our stay. I suggest renting directly from the Hawaiian Inn.
