Didn't like the fact you,can't change your vacation. They got,3 nights to sell to someone else. We never got to park by our room. The last night we even had to park 2 blocks away:(

Our stay was very nice. We enjoyed all of the pools and hot tubs. We were very happy with our room and how clean it was. The staff was all very helpful as well. We loved how close all the shops and everything was. We will definitely be back!

This is our 2nd year staying at this property & I could not be more pleased! It's a very safe & secure property. Our 3 children adore it there & I will not stay elsewhere again. The only down side is trying to find chairs by the pool. Most ppl take towels down & reserve their chairs so it's hard to get one. Condo is very nice & had everything you need. I highly recommend this property!

My family and I had a wonderful time at OceanWalk. Since our 2 boys ages 11 and 14 like having more to do than just be on the beach, this was just right. The movie theater and great restaurants were just a 3 minute walk from our room. The pool and the lazy river was very nice. The unit itself was very comfortable for a family of 4. Pleasantly surprised by the view....had an extremely nice partial view of the ocean(and I usually always prefer oceanfront) and a view of the river as well. everything was very clean and well-kept. Only one minor thing was that we had trouble getting a WiFi connection in our unit. Guest services said it could've been a maintenance thing, but for us it was not a huge deal. Overall, we had a fantastic time here and would definitely rent from the owner again!

I used this website to search for vacation rentals in Daytona Beach and found a property at Wyndham Ocean Walk listed by Dominic Hunter (Property #47980). I contacted the owner who responded. We agreed on a rate and he provided and invoice. He requested I provide a credit card payment via phone. I provided him the information and he sent me a sales receipt. This occurred on May 15. I contacted him on May 27 because I noticed the payment had not been processed by my credit card. He told me he would call me back within the hour, but never did. I contacted him over 20 times via phone, email and text message. He never answered my calls and sent me back one message saying that he would be in touch soon - never was. As a result, I sent him notification to cancel my reservation and told him he was not authorized to charge my credit card. He was very unresponsive - I still don't know what happened with this reservation. I'm reporting this so that hopefully others don't experience the same problem. I have a family with 5 children, and luckily, I was able to find another rental using a different website (VRBO) with excellent, professional results.

Paid in full for a vacation week at oceanwalk that "so called" owner did not have!!! When we found out we got scammed the hotel was sold out! We ended up finding a place through a different hotel and loved our rooms, booked directly with the hotel ....

We booked through these people, and did not get a confimation for the room till the night (10:00 pm) before we left. We were supposed to have the room for 3 nights. We only got it for 1. We were then asked to check out, and if another room became available for the 2nd night we were supposed to check in again. After numerous phone calls and a call to our lawyer, the agent agreed to refund us for the 2 nights we did not get. Even after the verbal commitment and a text saying we would get our money back, we finally had to put a dispute on our credit card. It was eventually given back to us. When we contacted Vacation home rentals directly, we never received a response. I will NEVER book with this agency again or with Dominic. The Ocean Walk condo was nice, but it was ridiculously crowded.

The hotel was clean, although I did not appreciate the trick of the condo sales pitch after check-in. The room, 1417, was nicely decorated but had some stains on furniture that was not expected. One toilet completely backed up while there (for no apparent reason) and the other one had almost no water pressure. It is a great location, pools were great, lazy river was nice, had good security staff, etc. I would recommend a family vacation at this resort hotel

The resort was fabulous! I was a little concerned because I didn't receive my confirmation for our reservation until about 9 days prior to checking in. That's the only thing that worried me. We'll continue to stay at the Ocean Walk every summer! The lazy river, water slide, kiddie pool and 2 bigger pools were wonderful. The only downfall to the pool area was that if you didn't get to the pool before 9:30am, you didn't get a lounge chair by the pool. I personally think that was ridiculous but nothing I can do to change it.

We received a receipt from Dominic Hunter but never received anything else. Two days before our trip he told us he didn't have a place for us and thought that we should be okay with it since he didn't charge our credit card.

Our experience was great except for registration. The young man cheating us in was rude and sarcastic. After cheating in I went to the owners group desk and found a great group to work with. They helped with the problems we were having and got a manager to help us. From then on all was good. The room was exactly as described and our time was enjoyable. All in all I would recommend this property. I just hope they retrain the person that we had to deal with.

Please Be Aware That This Owner Will Have You Send Him Your Money And You Will Not Have A Reservation Booked At This Hotel. After Speaking With Mr. Domonic Hunter Several Times He Instructed Us On How To Pay Him For The Two Bedroom Condo At The Wyndahm Hotel For The Week Of July 25-30th ,2011. We Sent The Money Fed -x As Instructed To A P.o. Box And Recieved A Reciept And Never Heard From Mr. Hunter Again. To Our Surprise When We Tried Calling Mr. Hunter For Our Information Packet Two Weeks Before Our Scheduled Time His Voice Mail Was Alwasys Full And If Someone Did Answer We Were Simply Hung Up On. Dont Bother Trying To Email Either You Will Get No Reponse. This Man Is Very Polite And Seems Totally Honest. Dont Be Fooled Save Your Money

Our stay at the Wyndham Ocean Walk was good. I will be back. The only two things I had a problem with was the limited parking. My son had to work and come join us later. He had to park across the street cost $80.00. Additional parking needs to be addressed. Maybe obtain the lot across the street at the sales office (hint). I know that Ocean Walk can't control the public. Smoking at the Kiddy pool should not be allowed at all. I was informed the trash can that has an ash tray on top represents allowed smoking areas. The one at the Kiddy pool needs to be removed and that area posted no smoking. Cigarette butts were threw down on the pool deck. My granddaughter has severe asthma and has been hospitalized with it. While there we had people to come and sit beside us light up and start smoking. We ask them to move away and let them know the granddaughter has asthma. You could see the anger. She did leave but came back with several other friends and all started smoking again so we had no choice but to leave the area. I did not see any children with them. I'm not sure if they were staying at the Ocean walk or just come up from the beach. I did complain to security. And I was informed that the trash can with the ash tray on top was a designated smoking area and people could smoke there. It does not make any sense to put a designated smoking area at the Kiddy pool. Please for the children Make that a no smoking area. Children shouldn't have to suffer the second hand smoke. Other then those two issues we had a great time. I loved the area and will be back. I hope the added Parking and No Smoking areas will be addressed that would be a asset to Wyndham to add parking and rethink smoking areas. Thank you, The Wheeler and Watkins family

We had a wonderful time. There is plenty to do at this resort. The room was wonderful with great ocean views. I do wish there was a little more kitchen utensils and a toaster that didn't just toast one side, but it wasn't anything that we couldn't deal with. Our overall experience was great. I would definitely recommend this condo in the north tower and would stay there again. The owners were absolutely wonderful and helpful! Thanks Cindy Grutza.

This is the best spot on Daytona Beach with lots to do. Condos have lots of security and nice facilities.

Ocean front... and only three blocks from main steet. Lots of things to do and see close by. Unique set up provided a sense of privacy to the members in our party while also being able to gather as a famly at mealtime. We are hoping to make this visit an annual event and wouldn't stay anywhere else!

This place is amazing! Top of the line. Clean, close to everything and great area. Something to do for any age. This is our second stay here. Only thing that needs to change is parking. You only get 1 spot. And a little busy checking in. But over all this is THE place to stay in Daytona.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Wyndham Oceanwalk, Dayton, in September. The resort was great. Our condo was very spacious and comfortable for us and our teenage boys. Would recommend as this seems to be a great locaiton for families.

We have stayed here for 4 years and we love it, especially if you have teenagers. There is so much for them to do that we actually get a vacation too without worrying about them. Its close to everything. We love it.

My family of six stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and were very pleased overall. The unit was roomy, well decorated and very clean. The grounds were also well kept and the pool area had something for every one. I had four children ages 14 to 21 and each one had a great time.
The Ocean view and the terrace made this place fabulous.
