Description of the Daytona Beach vacation condo rental
Even though we employ a cleaning services, at least once a month we personally clean the out of the way corners and places that are overlooked by the service. This is the cleanest and better appointed condo you will find in the area.
We recently remodeled the unit featuring a brand new kitchen that has smooth closing doors and drawers and top grade "Blue Pearl" granite counter tops. The bathrooms have also been remodeled.
$850-1250/week
Weekly Rentals are Sat-Sat. Rates vary depending on number of guests and time of year.
Area Information
Kennedy Space Center and the Merritt Island National Reserve is only a short drive away.
1.5 hours drive to the south is Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World. One hour drive to the north is Saint Agustine, the oldest city in the USA.

The Perfect Condo

Great ocean view. This section of the beach is in a quieter location which was great for us since we came during peak time period. Condo is very clean and updated. We will be back again next year. You can't find a better condo than this!

We have stayed at the Sand Dollar in Daytona Beach Shores each Spring between 1990 and 2005, so we knew what the building offered. This stay in #702 had a few "bumps" along the way. We arrived on a Friday instead of the usual Saturday check-in and found that because of an oversite by the cleaning staff the unit had not been cleaned. They showed up shortly after we moved in and offered to clean, but we declined as the unit was not that dirty. The second "bump" was that we were unable to use the oceanfront balcony during the day our first week because of on-going repair work that was being conducted. One of the main reason we book these units is for the balcony and we could not use it week 1. Third "bump" was the pool being closed for two days for repairs. Fourth "bump" was the clothes dryer quiting. The balcony and the pool issues in all fairness were beyond the control of the unit owner. The dryer issue, once we contacted the owner, was quickly repaired. This pleased us! In all, we did enjoy our stay in Juan's beautiful unit and would have given it a five star rating if not for the issue with the on-going and SLOW balcony work and the pool closure. We found that the owner responded quickly to problems that were within his sphere of control, and we would recommend this unit to our friends. Thank you Juan for allowing us to stay in your beautiful unit, I'm sure we will return!

Sometimes things do not go as planned and the restoration/painting work was considerably delayed by weather and other reasons, thank you Michael for your patience. The upside is that the building now looks gorgeous and like new again!

Fabulous condo!

I feel so fortunate that I came across this property when looking for a place to vacation. The pictures are great but it's even better in person. The condo is very clean and comfortable with an amazing balcony overlooking the Atlantic. The owner goes above & beyond in making your stay a great one. Kitchen is fully equiped, beds are comfortable, and there is everything you need for the beach (chairs, umbrella, towels, coolers, toys) in the laundry room. Good quality TV's in both bedrooms & the family room. Location is perfect. You can walk forever along an amazingly clean beach or play in the ocean which is perfect for swimming. Plus it only takes a couple minutes to get from the room to the beach. We were there in July/August but with the ocean breeze it was never uncomfortably hot. The Sand Dollar property was nice. Never seemed crowded or noisy. Lots of great restaurants within a 5 mile radius. Try Ocean Deck, Crabby Joes, or Aunt Catfish. My husband & I were traveling with our 2 college age sons...this unit is perfect for a family. I would unconditionally recommend it. You'll never want to leave!

The condo is everything we expected. Great views, great location and very clean and maintained. This condo is located away from the hustle of Daytona Beach Boardwalk so there was not much traffic and the beach was not crowded which is a huge plus. All other attractions are within 5 minutes of the condo. Having the garage to park in was an added benefit so your vehicle wasn't hot when you went to get in it. Disney World is only an hour away so this would be a great spot for families with children so you could enjoy the beach and Disney World at the same time. Will definitley go back to the beach and would rent this condo again.

The condo is just as stated, clean, comfortable, and everything you need is furnished. The owner’s attention to comfort is second to none. The balcony over looking the ocean is really an added bonus we thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunrises there. Dealing with the condo owner was easy and efficient. He was very helpful and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were accommodated in everyway. The managers’ of the condo however, their attitude gave us the impression they do not like renters. They have strict rules that they enforce (and sometimes not very politely) i.e.: shirts or cover-ups and shoes must be worn inside the building at all times, even going from room to pool or the beach. The $50. charge to let us in our condo after locking the keys inside seemed a little extreme, in all fairness I believe I might have been warned about the fee, but let’s face it, we were on vacation and it was the first day. We were told, however, the next time was free (isn’t that backwards? Shouldn’t they have opened the door free the first time and then warned us of a $50 fee next time?). All things considered we had a great time.

Great condo for a great price

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was the perfct size for four adults and two children. The ocean view was amazing and the beach below was never busy or crowded. I definitely recommend this place, and we will likely stay here again in the future.

We absolutely loved staying at the Fernandez's condo during our recent vacation. The unit was so clean and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony is spectacular, and we loved having our coffee out on the balcony each morning and the beach only footsteps away. We had never rented a condo before and were a bit reluctant, but Mr. Fernandez was such a pleasure to deal with and very organized. We will definitely rent this unit again-- it was truly amazing!

I made the right choice when I chose to rent this condo! The location of the Sand Dollar is convenient to everything, grocery, pharmacy, and restaurants, and is only a short drive to and from the airport, the Ponce de Leon lighthouse, and the Boardwalk. The pizza at the Portofino Restaurant across the street is fabulous. The unit is beautifully decorated, as well as clean and well organized. It had everything my family needed, both inside the unit and for the beach. The balcony area, which faces the beach and ocean, is huge! With the cooler November weather, the heated pool and spa were a welcomed luxury . The pool area, which is offset from the building, allowed us a maximum of sunshine, while all of the neighboring locations were shaded. I definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great place to stay while in the Daytona Beach area.

This was a beautiful, luxurious, and spacious condo. Very clean, quiet, and secure. The owner Mr Fernandez was so helpful. We had never rented a condo before and were a little anxious about the process. He made everything so easy. Everything we needed was there, every kind of appliance you can imagine. The towels and linens were of a very high quality. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay and hope to be able to use this place again in the future. I have visited Daytona off and on for roughly 20 years, and my week in this condo was the most comfortable trip that I have ever made. The secure/private nature of the building makes you feel safe, the secure parking makes access easy and quick, the absolute attention to cleanliness, and the “homey” décor of the condo makes you realize that you are renting from folks who love the beach, and want to make your trip enjoyable! The Fernandez’s have put a lot of heart and soul into this condo, and it very clear! I found myself saying “Wow”, many times as I realized the things they had thought of. Everything that you need is available to you from the kitchen to the utility room to the linens. The balcony is utterly amazing and it made our vacation so much better feeling as though we were staying with friends! Thank you Juan for ending our summer with such a wonderful property! I hope to return again soon!

We had a wonderful week of relaxation in this beachfront condo. Everything is conveniently located- making your stay very enjoyable. The floorplan is laid out well, with privacy between the 2 bedrooms. Everything is there to make your stay very comfortable. Me&my husband,daughter&her boyfriend stayed in Juan's condo....BEAUTIFUL!So home like.We had brought some thing's from home just encase we needed them&when we arrived we could not believe all that the condo had,right down to a funnel you use for pouring sugar,flour,etc.into sm.opening's.I know that sound's triveal but i needed one&thought what's the odd's&sure enough they had one! ;) Very beautifully decorated.Couldn't ask for anything else to go w/it.Thankyou Juan for making our vacation a very happy&enjoyable one.Will definately return!!!~

INCREDIBLE VIEWS- SPOTLESS CONDO !

My husband and 3 boys in their 20's stayed here for a week- all of us were thrilled with this condo and the area . Juan has thought of eveyrthing you'll need for a very comfortable stay and fun in the sun! The balcony is huge -we loved watching the sunrise from there in the mornings. The bedrooms and living room were spacious and so comfortable ! While this building is the prettiest one in the area- it's not huge- so the beach directly in front of the condo is populated- but not crowded. We all had a fantastic time - thanks !!

As a family of 5, we often have difficulty finding satisfactory accommodations that meet our needs. This condominium unit was more than perfect! The beautiful decor is evident from the pictures on this website. Upon arrival, you will see how clean the unit actually is. The full kitchen with all the materials necessary to cook a turkey dinner, the laundry room, the second bathroom and the comfortable beds make this feel like a home away from home. It is located in a quiet area, yet close to many amenities. The unit was reasonable priced. I have recommended this unit to all my friends and family!!

My wife and I stayed at this condo the week of and after Thanksgiving. Everything was just as Juan had told me it would be. Very clean and furnishings in excellent condition. Myself with my 4 teenagers stayed here this past year and it was great. It was far enough away from the spring break action, but still close enough for my kids to enjoy if they wanted. The condo is spotless and the owners are there to help you out with anything you need - I would definitely stay there again.
