Description of the Daytona Beach vacation home rental

Located 5 houses from the "World's Most Famous Beach" and Sunsplash Park. Sit on the deck and enjoy the ocean views, bask on the beach or get a close up view of special events - Speed Weeks, Bike Week, Daytona's July race, Biketoberfest and the popular Turkey Run. Easy access to all the fun activities!

Your accommodations are the entire top floor of a large Daytona Beach home with a wrap around deck, large living room with cable TV, DVD, VCR and a stone fireplace. A large, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and a full sized dining room gives you plenty of space for casual dining or small dinner parties. All of this in a large open floor plan. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the large second bedroom has two queen size beds. A sleep sofa in the living room provides extra room for family or friends. Plenty of on site parking and landscaped grounds. ALSO AVAILABLE in SAME house, first floor 1 bedroom apartment!! Fully furnished, sleeps 4 with full kitchen and bath!!

Area Description

Located in a quiet neighborhood just south of International Speedway Blvd. and 5 houses from the beach and a beautiful park! Within walking distance of the Main Street area with lots of shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, Daytona Lagoon water park, the pier, the Band Shell and night spots! Enjoy the fireworks from the pier every Saturday night Memorial Day through Labor Day up close or from your deck! A short 10 minute drive to the Daytona International Speedway or the Ponce Inlet Lightouse. Just across the Halifax river is Jackie Robinson Ball Park where you can catch a Daytona Cubs baseball game or go up the street to the Ocean Center to catch a Daytona Thunder arena football game when in season! Too many activities to mention! A 60 minute drive to the west will take you to the Orlando area attractions, a 45 minute drive north will take you to historic St. Augustine or a 45 minute drive south will take you to the "Space Coast"! If you do happen to be here when a launch takes place just walk out on the deck and watch without getting caught up in all the traffic!

Other Fees: Special Events: $200 per night with minimum stays of 4 or 7 nights depending on the event. Small apartment $500 week, special events $100 per night with minimum stays of 4 or 7 days depending on the event. Pets are welcome in small apartment for an additional charge of $10 per night. The home is located across the street from Daytona Beach and within walking distance to downtown. We had a great view and the upstairs apartment where we stayed was nicely kept. It had a few small problems, but nothing that hampered our vacation. Over-all we had a great time and the home filled all our needs. The home owner was easy to deal with and was eager to help in any way she could to make our stay better. I would recommend this place to any vacationer who wishes to visit Daytona Beach, especially during Bike Week.

My family and I rented the bigger appartment during Biketoberfest. Great location, furnished, spacious and ofcourse clean. The owner was super nice. We will be coming back.
