Steve F. 7/11 GREAT PLACE AND PEOPLE - Very nice place and the people are great to work with. Place is very clean and would recommend using both sides. We took the entire family and Debra and Domenick were really great. Really close to the water and right in the middle of a whole lot of fun! Price was great and the fun was better. Hope to return next year.

Ali A. - 7/11 -- I must tell you how much we enjoyed staying in Daytona. It was a great family vacation made possible by you and Domenick. He was wonderful in advising what nearby attractions were and had a friendly demeanor. My kids loved his bikes and being allowed to look at them. This was an unexpected treat. I hope we left everything better than expected.

June 2011 - In response to Andy Stein's review - I am pleased to approve his posting. I appreciate his honesty and acceptance of blame in losing his security deposit. In order to preserve the integrity and security of the vacation home, we have to insist that some very basic rules and agreements be observed. Unfortunately, Mr. Stein violated his agreement by having 4 unauthorized guests at the home (and actually the greater portion of the forfeited security deposit paid for their nightly stay); his party left the home and carpets filthy, resulting in our having to have the carpets professionally steam cleaned (and they had been cleaned just prior to his arrival); he left the refrigerator filled with food and kitchen dirty although the agreement states no food will be left; cigarette butts thrown in the yard, although the agreement states that there will be a $25 fee to clean butts thrown in yard; and 9 loads of laundry when the contract authorized 4 (last used towels and linens). Of course, we had to pay the carpet cleaners, laundromat, yard man and cleaning service extra hours to put the house back in order prior to the arrival of a new family that afternoon from his security deposit. It really put us in a difficult position to return the home to its pristine condition after Mr. Stein and his party left at 10 a.m. before the new family arrived at 4 p.m. I do commend Mr. Stein for his conduct in acknowledging that he violated his agreement and, despite having to pay for damages to the house from his security deposit, he still had, in his words, "an awesome time!" It is never pleasant for us to withhold a security deposit because it means the home and Vacation Rental Agreement have been disrespected and we are left with a mess to clean and/or repair. Fortunately, we rarely have to take this action as we find our guests are really good people that just want to have some fun in the sun in a very clean, comfortable, well appointed vacation home near the beach.

In response to the negative rating from Dunigan - it is only fair that I post my comments regarding this guest. I was more than fair and accommodating in allowing her to make monthly payments towards her rental and at the end, right before their arrival date, I had to constantly call to remind her payment was due. I ever allowed her to pay by personal check rather than cashier's check in an effort to accommodate her. She signed a contract that specifically stated "No Pets had been authorized or pet fee paid" and never ever indicated that she was bringing a pet. Pets are allowed if approved up front and pet fee paid. Secondly, she inquired as to whether their motorhome could be parked at the home. We can accommodate mid sized motorhomes as it clearly stated; however, they arrived in a 32' motorcoach that was too large to safely park in the driveway as the rear stuck out into the sidewalk and street. However, we safely parked the coach across the street, in full eye's view, in our neighbor's back yard, at no extra charge. Upon our discovering that they had "snuck" their dog in, she stated they had a last minute problem with a dog sitter. She could have very easily told me this and we could have worked out a solution. We had just had the carpets cleaned prior to their arrival - the pet left feces and urine on the carpets causing us to have the carpets recleaned. She was irritated that her deposit was forfeited. Please do not be fooled by this individual who clearly violated her agreement with me.

May, 2010 - Orlando, FL - My mom loved the house! She could not believe how nice it was or how close it was to the beach. She and my dad got up every morning at 5:30 and walked to the pier. We will definitely be back.
