Beautiful two-story beach house with limited oceanview. Large 3/2 with garage* located in a sleepy beachside neighborhood convenient to all the great fun Daytona Beach offers! Located on the easterly end of Lenox Avenue that deadends right onto the World's Most Famous Beach. 100 yards from ocean's edge and an easy two minute walk from front door. We are the 5th house west of ocean! There are 2 bedrooms and full bath upstairs and 1 bedroom and full bath downstairs with a large great room floor plan - lots of space for togetherness or privacy. Relaxing, safe neighborhood.
This tastefully decorated home provides everything you need for a fun, easy going vacation. Full sized kitchen comes complete with all major and small appliances, ice maker, garbage disposal, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. etc. High end mattresses, linens, comforters, towels. Really, all you need are groceries and Florida's two major grocery stores are located within two miles!!!
Great two story floor plan provides lots of privacy in this 1700 sq.ft. home. Two BRs up with a full bath and one BR down with a full bath. Everything you need!

We enjoyed 8 beautiful days at the home in April. As listed, this home has everything you need. You truly just need clothes and food. The beach is just a short walk away and the central location allows you to be at other attractions in a matter of minutes. We enjoyed working with Debra, the property owner and Domenick, the property manager. Both are honest and caring and will make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay.

Better Than Ever!!

This was our 4th year spending Christmas break at this home. Each time it gets better!! The new floor downstairs, new appliances, and updated bathrooms are wonderful updates. There is absolutely nothing you need to bring for your stay other than your clothes!! Thank you Debra for sharing your home and Dominick for being so helpful (as usual). And yes - our grandson still thinks it's his beach house!!

I was recently in Florida for my sister's wedding and needed a place that could accommodate my large family. This house was truly a home away from home that comfortably housed my husband, my mother, 5 kids ranging in age from 4 to 14, and me. The proximity to the beach was perfect. The house was functional and adorable. We were close to stores and the owners were thoughtful enough to even have take-out menus available. We arrived very late on a Friday night and the owner and manager could not have been more understanding. The owner even helped me find a local dry cleaner! When we left, they made check-out very easy and returned our deposit right away. I wish travel were always this easy. We all enjoyed our stay tremendously and were so grateful to Debra for making what could have been a stressful trip perfectly stress-free. Thanks!

Some descriptions misleading

The "fenced backyard" is actually a small fenced patio with a mulch border. The "large front yard" is actually quite small. The best feature is the proximity to the ocean. Having the garage is convenient to store items but is too crowded to park a car in it. Kitchen is well-stocked. TV in each room is convenient. Nice linens. Comfortable bed. Lengthy contract is packed full of rules and requirements.

A picture is worth a thousand words and my photos clearly show the back and front areas of the home that Ms. Fraley takes issue with. The garage is an oversized one-car garage that is not meant for parking vehicles; and, in fact, the rental agreement clearly states that the Vacation Town Home comes with two parking spaces - driveway and in front of home. I believe my guests appreciate having a garage filled with full sized washer/dryer, beach bikes, beach toys, beach chairs, coolers, grills, rafts, etc. much more than parking a car in the garage for their stay! This is confirmed over and over in my previous guest reviews. Regarding the contract, I abide by the train of thought that my guests are much better served having a full and complete understanding of expectations for everyone's peace of mind. There is nothing tricky or harmful in my rental agreement, and it is actually a result of being a constant "work in progress" -- when a matter comes up that is not addressed but would give everyone a better sense of clarity, I add it to the Agreement for the benefit of my guests. I always tell everyone to call me should they have any questions or concerns. The Agreement simply purports to cover any and all matters surrounding the rental of a vacation home - especially sight unseen and over the internet. There is a lot of fraud in today's world and I want to make my guests feel comfortable with me and their choice. Also, let's not minimize the fact that I am putting strangers in my home and giving absolute access to my personal property - I must protect my interests as well. Previous reviews more than substantiate my good will towards my guests - many of whom have become fast friends that return annually to call the beach home their personal vacation home.

This is a beautiful home, literally just steps from the beach - we went for a walk on the beach early Christmas morning in our PJs! The inside of the home is gorgeous, with all the comforts of home - flat screen TVs in every room, comfortable living room furniture (brand new!), fully stocked kitchen, a great DVD collection, etc.. And if you want to spend a day at the beach, the garage has bikes, sand toys, boogie boards, chairs, the works. Our kids said this is how it should be every time! :) We have stayed at a few rental homes before, but this is by far the best. To top it all, the extremely helpful manager lives right next door! Most highly recommended.

Fantastic time at the Beach

Our family of eight (5 adults and 3 children) had a great time. Even though we live here in Florida it was nice to be able to stay at the beach rather than just driving over for the day. Debra and Dominic were wonderful to work with and made our stay possible without a hitch. We felt like we just picked up our home and placed it in Daytona. Very comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. Just bring clothes and groceries and of course there are plenty of places to eat that are very close by when you don't want to cook! Thanks so much for a very enjoyable stay.

I am pleased to say that our party of 4 adults, and 6 children, had a wonderful stay at the Sea Orchid Beach House, in Daytona Beach. The check-in/out was easy. The home was equipped with everything you need to have an amazing time at the beach; bikes, boogie boards, sand buckets, chairs, etc. The home was very clean and everyone felt comfortable here. We loved how close it was to beach also, just a short 2 minute walk and your toes are in the sand. We had a blast. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. Sincerely, Jessica

Debra was so nice and helpful in us renting her beautiful house for that week. this was the first time I have done this and she took all doubts away that i had and made this a great vacation for my family. the best way i sent Debra the money was by paypal it is easy and fast to do this . there is no doubt to where the money is at and less painful for not spending a lot of time at the bank or post office. anyone who rents Debra's place will enjoy the home for this is a place where you can kick back and relax.

First of all, let me say that at first I wasnt sure of this house by browsing on the website, although everything looked beautiful. I just wasnt sure. Because I was looking for that perfect place. After going ahead with this house, when I got there, I quickly had a change of heart, It was beautiful, clean, up to date, almost like being at home. They have everything you will possibly need, and all the comforts of home. I still am amazed at all the things she had in the garage that was so useful to us, and didnt even see it all till the day before leaving. They are nothing she dont have. really bring your clothes, and food. then just a few little things here and there, and you too will have a great vacation. It was perfect for my 6 year old, and 15 year old daughter and her friend. we were just 2 minutes from the beach, and had everything we needed. Domonick was great! he was very nice and helpful, YES, we do plan to stay there again. also during our stay we decided that we would trade vechicles. so I stayed with the children while my husband drove back to Kentucky on his motorcyle and picked up our car that we traded. He was only gone over night, and just me being there with the children, I felt safe, and at home. Just knowing Domonick was next door, and a great neighbor. I had No worries at all being left in a strange place with the children. The house really is awesome, if you havent stayed there, then really it is a great place to stay and enjoy your vacation. They were internet which late evening we enjoyed, and movies, to watch on the DVD player. It was perfect. Our children loved to ride the bikes early morning and late afternoon. she had so many toys our son didnt know what to play with first, I cant think of a think that would of made our stay any better. It was perfect.... I do plan to return there again, soon! Thanks so much for having us, we loved your home...

This townhouse was just perfect. It is close to everything. You can be on the beach in less than 2 minutes from the front door, at plenty of shops and restaurants within 5- 10 minutes and on the boardwalk within 10 minutes- all by walking! The house is very nicely decorated, has a warm, homey feeling and has anything you might need right there. There are plenty of towels, toys and other beach accessories for you to use during your stay. Debra was pleasure to work with and was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had and Domenick was a great host to our group. Would love to go back and stay again here! You will not be disappointed!!

This house is perfect! We had a group of ten and we all had plenty of room. The beach is very close and other Daytona Beach destinations are in walking distance. Even if you don't want to walk, the cab fares to clubs and restaurants are very reasonable! We loved having the property manager next door. We would definitely go back!

The house was beautiful and in a great location along Daytona Beach Shores. The owners were quite fair and very accomodating. There is pleanty of room in the house to relax however you wish. Beach was located just a two minute walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It included everything such as coolers, beach chairs, bikes, all the way to take out menus. Property Manager is right next door and he was really helpful as well. And the townhouse is a VERY short walk to the beach. Thanks!

Thank you for letting us rent your home. We loved the house, it`s beautiful! There were 8 of us and no one had to compete for elbow room. Everything we could have needed was right there. Great location and Domenic and Tina were fantastic. We feel we have made some new friends. This was a vacation that will always be remembered and our stay at the Sea Orchid Beach House made it so much greater! We are looking forward to returning to the Sea Orchid as soon as we can! The house was great, plenty of room for all of us (4 adults and 5 kids). The master BR worked out great - we put all the kids in there. There really isn't anything we would change, it was very "homey" and everything we needed was there. We did use the beach toys, towels and chairs frequently and it was nice to have the washer and dryer. We loved the place and hope to return soon. Domenick and Tina were very friendly and nice and greeted us each time they saw us. Tina gave us some tips on the sights! Thanks for a great house and we had a wonderful vacation - the time was too short. We did come home with a National Championship!! So, everything went great.

Being at the Sea Orchid Beach House was a truly wonderful experience. It was nice, cozy, clean and comfortable. Very tastefully decorated and complete. It just felt like our own home. We LOVED the Sea Orchid! It was sooooo nice and pretty and CLEAN!!! My mom and sister just raved on and on how nice and clean it was. It smelled very good too! Whoever cleans it up for your surely does a fantastic job. Your sheets and towels were to die for. I thought we were at the Ritz Carlton. The first night when I crawled in that kingsize bed I was in heaven. We sure did enjoy everything. We loved your decorating also. I was just nice, my sister and I hardly wanted to go anywhere but stay there and rest and enjoy everything! We had the most wonderful time in this home! It was so clean and refreshing; when I walked in the door I felt so at home. Other places I've stayed have been nice, but I've never felt as comfortable as I did here. I didn't feel like a guest who has just unpacked for a week; I felt like I had always lived there. Everything about this home is so inviting! It is almost like someone is saying to you come in and rest. If you do nothing but stay at this home you enjoy yourself with the books and the welcoming atmosphere. Everything you want to do is very close by. What a peaceful retreat! I felt so at home with the designer touches that the owner so lovingly gave this home. We had a large group and we all fit comfortably in this spacious rental. It is also close to many area attractions, not to mention the biggest of all - the BEACH! I'll be back.
