Description of the Daytona Beach Shores vacation condo rental

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 balcony top floor (5th floor) condominium is ideal for people that need a vacation to relax and enjoy their surroundings. Our building has a total of 30 units that have a delicate mix of owner occupied units and rental units with returning clients from year to year. Our building has a family oriented atmosphere and is not a party building. If you stay in our unit we're sure you'll see there's no better value for what it has to offer.
Being able to enjoy both the sunrise and sunset off of east and west facing balconies is one attribute of this unit. The master bedroom boasts a bathroom of its own with a standup shower and new furniture as follows: king size bed, TV with DVD player, armoire, and a large dresser. Two closets, a balcony, fresh paint and newly installed tile adds the finishing touches to the room.
The second bedroom is smaller but has a large closet with a new queen size bed and dresser. A newly tiled floor and fresh paint makes this room very clean and comfortable. The second and main bathroom with a tub/shower is adjacent to this second bedroom.
The newly tiled kitchen is fully stocked with new appliances (dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, refrigerator, range and oven) and new dishware/silverware.
The living room/dining area has brand new ammenities - table & chairs, sofa & loveseat, TV with built in DVD player and tables with lamps. NOTE: TWO WEEK MINIMUM RENTALS!!!!!!! THIS IS A NON SMOKING UNIT!!!!!

Area Information

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION: Located just 7/10 of a mile south of the last bridge to the mainland (the road dead ends 5 miles south of our unit) our condominium is in an area with reduced traffic flow since most of the heavy traffic is located further north within Daytona Beach city limits (approximately 5 miles). At the same time with the Dunlawton Bridge being so convenient a trip to the mainland is a simple drive. Traveling across the state of Florida is easy with Route 95 located just 10 minutes away. Restaurants and grocery stores are within 1.25 miles to make food shopping or a quick bite to eat a breeze. Fishing off the Sunglow Pier or grabbing a snack at Crabby Joe's (located on the pier) is an easy walk (just 1/4 mile away). The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse located 5 miles south provides a sightseeing tour with a waterfront restaurant nearby. A casino cruise ship leaves Ponce Inlet Harbor on regularly scheduled trips for an entertaining ocean cruise. Deep sea fishing charters also leave regularly from the Harbor.
Our heated swimming pool with a large sun bathing area overlooking the ocean makes for a relaxing vacation. With 150 feet of hard sand beach accessible from the pool area enjoying the beach is easy for everyone. Walking on the beach isn't a strenuous task as with some soft sand beaches. Kids will enjoy the ease of running on the beach. Playing catch with a football or frisbee is comfortable and fun to do.
For the plain and simple admiring the ocean and the beautiful intercoastal views is sometimes enough - and that's OK too. Whatever you desire this unit gives you the opportunity to experience a fun, relaxing, zero stress vacation.
For people living in the north extending your summer can be done by enjoying either May, September, October, November or December in Daytona Beach Shores. We offer reduced pricing for any of these months and can significantly help reduce the winter blues - you know those dreary, cloudy, damp cold days that seem to linger forever. Break up the monotony by enjoying 2 weeks or 2 months in Florida. As shown below the average air temperatures for the Daytona Beach area are as follows:
MAY - high = 85F; low = 65F
SEPTEMBER - high = 88F; low = 72F
OCTOBER - high = 83F; low = 65F
NOVEMBER - high = 77F; low = 57F

Great High Rise

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. I was concerned in was not direct beachfront, but the view was outstanding. The condo was extremely comfortable (including the beds), and great TV's and instructions for the use of them. No guessing. This is a great safe condo, since it is inside a conference center, yet very roomy, large bedroom and bath. I would definitely recommend it, and the owners were great to work with. The only thing lacking was a washer/dryer within the unit itself. Since our stay was over a week, we could have used it, but not that important. Since we drove, we could bring a lot of clothes. The parking garage was being worked on, so dragging things from the far parking lot to the unit was kind of far, but I assume that has been completed by now , with parking much closer to the unit.

Thank you for your kind words. We truly hope you were aware of the coin operated washer/dryer across the hallway from our unit (about 30 paces away). Our parking lot has been completely renovated with new Unilock stone pavers and looks beautiful! Sorry for this inconvenience during your stay. We also provide shopping carts for use during loading/unloading. I am not sure what this renter means by our unit being inside a conference center? Danbury Breakers is a 5 story free standing building.

Excellent condo

My husband and I have stayed in a lot of places around the world, and this condo can hold it's own. Very clean, easy to find, and right on the best Beach in Florida. Quiet neighboorhood, and clean. Definitely will stay again!!

Wonderful Ocean Getaway!

What a wonderful relaxing getaway. The views from the balcony of the beach and ocean were stunning. When we had gotten too much sun, we would just sit on the balcony or under the gazebo at poolside and read while listening to the surf. Clean and comfortable stay in an amazing location. Quiet and yet within a short distance to many restaurants and attractions. Only 1 1/2 hours to Disney.

We vacationed with 2 young children and were very pleased with the size of the condo and the cleanliness. There was plenty of room for all of us, lots of closet space with lots of hangers, extra beach towels and linens. The furnishings were updated and very nice. The kitchen was well furnished with everything we needed including regular dishes and plastic for the kids. The balcony on the ocean was great for watching the dolphins and the balcony with the river view was great for watching large boats and the sunset. The location was SUPERIOR. We were close enough to walk to Sunglo Pier and eat at Crabby Joes. The kids loved the pool area-it was always clean and well taken care of. Plenty of lawn furniture, attractive landscaping and a covered patio with table and chairs for a pic nic. This condo had everything we needed and we'll definitly return. My only negative would be the beds are too soft-but that's a matter of preference.

Cleanest, nicest we seen in a while!

Our vacations were a lot more agreable than the past years in this unit! Clean, renovated, neutral but agreable decoration, quiet, splendide views, top floor, 4 min of walk to the sunglow pier, a kitchen with LOTS of cooking supplies... The matresses are new, even more comfy than my own expensive one at home! Every morning, looking at the halifax river on your private balcony is something I wont forget. Than go on the second balcony to stare at the ocean, throwing an eye on the fishing pier is a good way to start another sunny day in Daytona!
