Great Location

Great location and steps away from the beach, The condo was very clean and the owners replied back to all our questions in a very timely manner. They were renovating the outside while we were there which was a little inconvienient but the contractors were very cooperative and worked around us when needed. For a family of four (2 children under 3) it was a bit on the small side but only using it too sleep was not an issue. If I was to go again to Daytona without chldren I would defineltey recommend.

There is nothing like opening the blinds to the sights & sounds of the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed our month's stay & hated to leave. The unit was comfortably furnished & clean. Once we parked our car, it was rare that we needed to use it, as the unit is conveniently located to a few restaurants, groceries, or whatever else we may have needed. The trolly was also nearby, in the event we wanted to venture further away from the condo. The owners were very easy to contact and available to answer any questions we had. A first-rate experience. COMFORTABLE!

We stayed in this well furnished efficiency condo for the month of February. We were impressed with how well it was furnished. Since I enjoy cooking, I had taken some utensils along, but everything I ever needed was there. Also, the Murphy bed was great because each day we could put it up so easily and it opened up the space so that we never felt cramped. We so appreciated the fact that the ocean was always "right there!" The owners were very responsive and had a repairman come very quickly when we experienced a little problem with the AC/Heater. My husband and I would recommend this rental to anyone who enjoys being right on the ocean.

We have just returned from our 2 week stay for Christmas and New Years! We arrived late due to flight delay etc. After getting the door finally opened what a sweet surprise to see a beautiful bottle of wine and a lovely card. The unit was spotless and couldn't have been cleaner. It had everything one would need away from home. Loved the outside chairs and table - very comfy! We visit the Daytona area often and we felt right at home. There is so much to do and see, one would never be bored. Everything is new, clean and fresh! We will definately be returning.....thank you for sharing your home away from home with us.

We arrived to the peace of mind after long 24 hours of driving... It was pleasant surprise that our rental appartment hapent to be right near the water . First floor facing white sand makes you feel like you not in the building... At the place we find all that vacation family may need to stay in comfort. We like decor and organizing up to small details every sq. feet of the appartment. City was warm and pleasand , weather was wonderfull and all atmosphere was quiet and inviting. We will gladly suggest this place to our friends and family. Hopefully we come back some other day

PARADISE REVISITED.

I would like to thank Tom & Sheri, the owners for a wonderful week at Daytona Beach Shores in their rental Studio. Also, thanks to The Vacation Home Rentals Site for letting me find this place to rent for a week! It was SPOTLESS! I am a clean freak, and bought my own cleaning supplies & bug-bombs, just in case! NO NEED! Truly, deep clean! Everything was like brand new condition. The sheets, blankets, all of the cooking items, tv trays, etc. A fantastic TV! I was the envy at the pool because I also had 2 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, 2 beach loungers, beach towels, a beach umbrella WITH the auger to get it down in the sand at the beach all at my own disposal without having to go buy it or bring it! All included! They had 4 new, very nice patio chairs with a nice little table to set out on the front stoop which was really enjoyable to see the ocean view. It is the first unit next to the pool on the ground floor; about 5 steps to the pool gate which is locked so only Pirates Cove guests have access. From the pool you go down some steps straight to the beach. You may have the safest place on the beach because the main LifeGuard Tower is right next to the pool at one of the driving access roads that comes onto the beach. It flies the main flags that dictates the water condition with the latest tide/temperature info always available. There was always beach umbrella/chaises/surfboard rentals trucks right there and also a food truck on the beach near-by. The pier was to the left, close enough to walk to but far enough away from the fisherman. The surf was great and it was the first time I have ever seen the Atlantic ocean blue/green! Every store you could possibly need is so close by. I reccomend a place called Boondocks, Extremely casual and fun and reasonable. Go left out of parking lot , take a right on Mallard and it dead-ends into restaurant. This unit is in the back, hardly nobody parks back there & you can park your car right in front of the unit for quick, easy access. I just went by myself but would love to bring my children back sometimes. Thanks so much for letting me rent your studio. We loved the ease of access to the beach! The view would have been much better from a unit higher up of course, but quick access to the beach is much more important to us, and this unit has that! It was also nice to be able to park right outside our unit door. There were a lot of nice & convenient touches, including a huge basket of towels & rags for the week by the housekeeper, coffee pot, dishes, boogie boards, etc. Didn't realize we would have to supply our own toliet paper, but that was not a big deal. There is a CVS right across the street, and although the prices are steep, it has what we needed. There was also a Walmart less than 5 miles away. This unit was basically like a hotel room with nice furnishings and no need for interaction with "hotel" staff- we just came & went as we pleased. We had a slight issue where some idiotic 20-somethings were messing with our car & being suspicious, but once we said something to them, that was taken care of (and no fault of the owners). Also, the first day we arrived (after our loooong drive) we took a nap to wake up to the housekeeper coming into the room to bring us towels, and we never heard a knock...but were sleeping, so may not have heard it). We absolutely had a blast on this vacation, the owners had great communication, & we would definitely rent from again. Also, a quick return on our deposit. THANKS, Tom & Sherri!

The housekeeper contacted us the day that she walked in on you sleeping, and she explained that she knocked on the door to see if you had checked in yet as she didn’t get a response she proceeded to come in and she apologized to you (our guests) and to us she just wanted to make sure that you had clean towels, linens, etc. I hope that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you found everything satisfactory.

I stayed at this property with two other people for a pleasant vacation. Access to the beach is immediate, and that spot on the beach is very nice. A trip to Crabby Joes restaurant is a short walk away, and the drive to downtown Daytona is about 10min. The condition of the unit was good, and the owners were very good about communicating with me, and my full deposit was refunded in a timely manner.

My family and I just returned from this property and what a great place we found. We went down for March break and it so happened to be Daytona bike week as well. We thought it was going to be loud and noisy and be up all night from the noise but were we ever wrong. The unit is in the back of the building with its own little hidden parking area (front was full all the time) and very quiet, away from the road and the noise. The unit was located very close to the pool and beach which meant we didnt have to wear our sandles to the beach and track the sand everywhere. When we arrived it was raining with a good breeze so we opened the door and listened to the waves crash on the beach which was a nice sound to have for the first night. The unit itself was very clean and well organized. We bought our own groceries and used the hot plate to cook pork chops and burgers and vegetables a couple of times. There is a kettle there but we like the perk coffee and wouldve prefered a bigger coffee maker but it was fine enough for 2 of us. Also when sitting on the couch to watch tv there was nowhere to put your drink down so a tv tray would be nice but I grabbed the little table from the porch to use instead. My daughter is 18 and had a great time on the beach wether tanning or walking up and down the shore to look at some sites. There is everything close by that you need including a Walmart, Publix grocery store, Burger King, 7-11 right across the street, gift shops all over, Crabby Joes on the Pier, and fishing right off the pier for $16 for the day and it includes everything. We were only an hour away from all the major attractions like Kennedy Space Center, Disney World, Universal, etc. When we arrived we seen some fins skimming along the water just before heading over the bridge and later found out that they were dolphins swimming in the inlet. All in all it was a great place to stay and we will definately be returning especially with the price being so reasonable.
