Near Deep Creek lake and Wisp Ski Resort in Savage River Forest. Down Hill skiing at Wisp Resort or cross country at New Germany Park. Learn to Fly Fish or take a guided wade trip on the Savage or a Float Trip on the North Branch of the Potomac. We have kayaks and mountain bikes to rent or just go hiking right out the front door. Over 1000 feet of private river front and 57000 acres of State Forest and trails across the road. 20 minutes up through the park to Deep Creek lake or 3 minutes to Savage River Lake (no power boats allowed).

Downstream 2.5 miles is the North Branch of the Potomac River, also ranked as one of the top 100 trout streams in the country. There are over 300 miles of pristine wild brook trout in the Savage River watershed, all within minutes of our Fly Shop and rental homes...and all protected by catch and release regulations. We are 2.5 hours drive from the Washington DC, Baltimore and Pittsburgh areas.
