Spend your vacation on Deep Creek Lake in the mountains of Western Maryland, Hike the mountain forests to admire the largest waterfall in Maryland or just relax around the lake in this charming three-bedroom two bath lakefront cottage completely renovated in 2010. The cottage is located on a beautiful, family friendly, level lakefront lot. With a southern exposure, the private dock with Adirondack chairs remains in the sun until sunset (important in the mountains). Also, Maryland's only 4-season destination, Wisp Resort, is only minutes away. Wisp offers a spa, skiing, golf, and other recreational acitivies such as a mountain coaster, whitewater course, zip lines, and mountain biking.

Perfect Retreat!

My husband and I and a few friends of ours rented the cottage for a weekend away and it was absolutely perfect! The lakefront is gorgeous and so serene! We enjoyed sitting on the dock absorbing the spectacular views and cooled off with a swim! The cottage is very clean and tastefully decorated. It feels very comfy and cozy! Peggy was very helpful in suggesting nearby activities and restaurants. We took a half-day trip to Swallow Falls State Park which is perfect for a hike and waterfall views. Relaxing by the campfire at night, eating s'mores and enjoying our company with beautiful surroundings was the highlight each evening. We hope to make this a yearly trip!

That Dam cottage

Cotage was beautiful , the views from the cottage were the millian dollor view we all want. Its very close to the water . Swimming in the lake was great. At night its dark and very and very quiet.A good night sleep you will get. At& t cell service 'O' . Verison works ok. The only things that would be nice to have in the cottage would be AC & internet but not biggies by any means. Would my family and I stay there agion . Yes without a question.

Perfect! I can't think of any other way to describe it. If you like to bike,hike, ski, fish, boat, sun, get away from it all, tour quaint shops or just feel like you have the world to yourself- this is it. The cottage is spacious with comfortable beds, furniture and up to date appliances for your use. The decor is wonderful in it's mountain lake cottage appeal.Location is nice- not to far from amenities. The private beach area, large yard, outside fireplace,private dock and hot tub make it is perfect for relaxing. Neither of the neighboring cottages are visible so you feel as if you have the area to yourself. Peggy is most helpful if you have questions and has great suggestions for restaurants and rental shops. We hope to vacation there again in the future.

This property is one of the nicest on Deep Creek Lake! Very Comfortable home! Wonderful working with owners to rent property. My family had a wonderful vacation because of this house in the private area of the lake where it resides. Great for kayaks!
