Renovated turn-of-the-century farmhouse on 3 acres of grass with fruit trees just 8 miles from the Deep Creek Lake area. You can sit on the front porch of the house which is located on a high ridge with unrestricted views of surrounding mountains while enjoying the summer breezes. There are working farms all around with cows, horses, and crops. The property is located on a lightly traveled road that dead ends in two miles on Yough Lake which is 25 miles long. A separate 100 year old Smokehouse has been converted into a unique bar with a pot-bellied stove. There's an outdoor stone firepit and stone grill. The side porch has a sunroom with a 2 person hot tub. Also available 2 bikes (but no helmets).
This property is located about 8 miles from the Wisp resort and Deep Creek Lake area. These offer four season activites including snow-skiing and other winter sports, all kinds of watersports including training in white-water rafting, golfing, several State Parks with a beach and many miles of hiking trails, shopping and restaurants. About 15 minutes away in nearby Pa. is the world-class Nemacolin resort that offers top-notch golfing, a Family Fun Center with bowling and a train display and 5 star restaurants. 2 miles away in Friendsville is Precision Rafting which offers all levels of White-water rafting trips.
