Check in was easy. Everyone was very cooperative, professional and extremely patient. House was different from one chosen because of circumstances. Railey upgraded us, and we were extremely pleased. Everyone in our extended family had a wonderful time and want to return next year.
Railey's service was excellent as always. We loved the location of the house and it had an awesome view of the lake and a very nice pool.
The layout was great, too, with most of the master bedrooms facing the lake, but the furnishings & amenities (bedspreads, sofas, etc.)were somewhat outdated, and not as nice as many of the Railey rentals we previously stayed in. The water pressure was not very good, and the water was very "soft"-possibly from a water softener?
Service from Railey Mountain Lake Vacations was, as always, excellent. The were very responsive throughout the rental process and our entire stay. Housekeeping had also done an excellent job in preparing "Celebration" for our arrival. The home itself is well designed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We had up to 13 persons including kids and grandkids of all ages and always felt there was room to spread out and not feel cramped. The location of "Celebration" is wonderful...close to all facilities and right on the lake. There were a few minor glitches with maintenance items that were a little annoying. All were reported and I'm sure will be corrected (faucet leaks, a shower that didn't work, an inoperable fireplace screen, etc). The hot tub apparently was not serviced prior to our arrival and the water was in need of chemicals and cleaning. We reported this and it was attended to and corrected right away. The snow in the driveway was cleared daily and cinders spread for traction...a godsend with the ice and snow. With the exception of the minor maintenance glitches, it was a very wonderful stay and an excellent home. I would not hesitate to recommend "Celebration" for a great extended family vacation.
Celebration is the perfect house for a large family or family reunions. The house is well furnished, love the pool, and is in close proximity to all that Deep Creek has to offer. The house was enjoyed by all...ages 8 through 75.
We received excellent service and the staff was very attentive to our every request. The house was lovely decorated and we had no problems during our stay. we were located right on the Lake (which was great) and we had a camp fire nearly every night! We also had an indoor pool for the little ones to play in. This was our second year at Deep Creek and not one person in the family had a negative thing to say about our vacation!
