Description of the Deer Isle vacation cottage rental

Pine woods setting at the top of the world! Weiss Lower Cottage is located at one of the highest settings on Little Deer Isle, capturing spectacular views towards the Camden Hills and over Penobscot Bay and its many spruce clad islands. The exterior of the home almost belies the more contemporary feel of the inside. The home has a spacious feel, with large, open living plan and gabled, beamed ceilings, wood floors, and a nice mix of casual-contemporary furnishing. There are three bedrooms: the first floor master bedroom has a queen bed, and upstairs there are two small bedrooms (each with two single beds), plus a loft sitting area with TV. The cottage has one bathroom - with shower (on the first floor). There is a large deck from which to enjoy the impressive views and wooded surrounding. Guests will enjoy full use of 2000 ft of private beach just a short walk away (and shared by owners other rental cottage, Weiss Upper - both sharing over 58 acres of land and trails). Your well-mannered dog is welcome to vacation with you.
