Some of the most picturesque and outstanding qualities that make the Deer Isle area so breathtakingly beautiful are the meandering inlets that reach deep within the island, dotted with spruce clad island and rocky outcroppings. Spruce Shores Cottage sits nearly at the deepest interior of what has to be one of these most scenic inlets, enjoying ample acreage and over 1000 feet of shore frontage to relish this stunningly gorgeous setting. The home is tucked within this amazing setting, immediately surrounded by soft, green grasses, and further embraced by woods and a short trail leading to nearby marshland. The shoreline surrounds the cottage, and is easily accessible for walking, swimming or for launching a kayak. The home itself offers a beautiful simplicity, with everything you need yet without being cluttered and overpowering. Downstairs is an eat in kitchen opening to a living room with brick fireplace, both of which overlook the water. There are two bedrooms and full bath on the main floor, with two additional bedrooms upstairs. While not a large home, it will comfortably accommodate 5-6, but cozy enough for just two, as well. In addition to the beauty of the setting, the location is also very centrally located to enjoy activities and destinations throughout the island. A fresh water lake is nearby, as are many other beach locations, and a trip to Nervous Nellies is a must! The village of Deer Isle is but a few minutes drive, or 20 minute walk away.
