Description of the Deia vacation cottage rental
A unique casita overlooking the sea, next to the Archuke´s house Son Marroig. Sourrounded by 900sqm of land and gardens with suitable areas for picnincs. There is a double bed. Fully equiped kitchen. Ensuite bathroom with shower. Parking in front of the entrance gate to the property. Cleaning twice a week if desired, towel, bed linen provived. Fantastic sunsets in an atmosphere of calm and serenity, just a magic spot
Area Description
Next door to the property the International Festival of Chamber Music of Deia has been taken place for the last 28 years. There is a restaurant 100m away. Deia is 2,5km away, know by its comunity of artists, many bars and restautants. The Cala Deia is 15 minutes drive away. There are two restaurants at The Cala and is an ideal spot for snorkelling. The cove of Cala Valldemossa is the other way about 20 minutes by car. Actors Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones have a house nearby a former property of the Archduke Luis Salvador of Austria. Steeped in history and tradition, Valldemossa was the village where Chopin the Polish composer, resided with his lover Georges Sand the French writer in 1838. She wrote of her experiences in a book entitled "A Winter in Mallorca ".
The nearest golf course is 15 minutes away,close to Palma.
Palma itself is a city with a vivrant nightlife and good for shopping. The fascinating old city and the port are packed with restaurants bars and fabulous yachts.
