Exclusive hilltop home in Del Mar, just on the border of Rancho Santa Fe. Modern and whimsical, this dramatic wood home, with vast windows and views overlooks the valley and polo fields. 5 minutes away is the Del Mar Fairgrounds and Race Track. 5 more minutes and you are at the beach.

There are three bedrooms with queen beds and garden views, one with double bed, loft with futon and two and a half baths. Wonderful linens and down comforters provided. Wonderful open kitchen and great room area, equipped with quality appliances and all kitchen supplies.

The home is very private, plenty of parking and surrounded by palm trees and natural vegetation. It is your getaway to a very fun area and oasis when you return home and lounge on the decks and lanais by the pool and spa.

We did not want to leave!!! The property is well cared for and so peaceful we actually didn't go to the beach as much as we thought we would. The owner, Joyce, and property manager, Erin, were very friendly and helpful. All of our meals (three per day) were cooked in the well equipped kitchen. There are a number of grocery stores close by as well as movie rentals and restaurants. Four out of five of us brought laptops and the wireless worked flawlessly as did our cell phones (my spouse needed to work during our break). The beach is an easy 8-minute drive away and we dragged ourselves (including our 20 yo, 18 yo and 17 yo) out for a short period every day to surf and walk on the beach...even if it is March and the waters chilly. Loved it loved it loved it! It was the PERFECT family getaway and we would go back in a heartbeat!
