Description of the Delavan vacation home rental
This cottage is self contained except for sheets, pillow cases, towels and wash clothes, which you supply. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with bunk beds. A sleeper couch is in the front room and a rollaway bed that goes into the front room closet.
Maximum number of people permited by our rental and health deparment permits is 7.
It has 2 window air conditioners, one 5000 BTU in the living room and one 10000 BTU in the dinning area. Central heating. There is a DVD player, micro wave, toaster oven.
Association rules prohibit dogs unless reting for 30 days or more.
Internet access at Assembly Hall 4 doors East of cottage.

Area Information
Childrens dances on Thurday nights and Bingo on Saturdays. Holidays, holiday weekly/week end and regular week end only rates slightly higher.
Minimum stay is 2 nights.

Grandkids had a ball
August 15, 2012
First thing we did was look around the cottage which was clean and well equiped. When we looked in the bed rooms that was a big hit as the grand kids loved the idea of sleeping in a bunk bed. Second bed room has a queen bed for us. Short walk across the ball field past the swings and slides was the lake. 2 hours in the water going down the water slide, I finally got them out so we could buy some food for the cottage for the week The shopping is 5 minutes away to Super Walmart or the "Piggy Wiggley". Culvers dinner was right there and Grandpa was swayed to get some burgers and ice cream, then it was back to the lake for a couple more hours. My daughter and son-in-law came strolling up just before dark. We settled in at the cottage a bit tired The kids could not wait till the next day to do it all over again For me it is just how I remember those times when I was about there age and now just to see how they enjoy it!

Wonderful Vacation Experience on Lake Delevan

My family could not have asked for a better host. The house was clean, quiet, and had all the comforts of home. Our three children had the extra large playroom downstairs as well to keep them occupied at the end of the day of swimming at the beach one block away. It was also great there were two full bathrooms with showers for the five of us, as well as the central air conditioning. The shady deck in back also was used alot while barbequing on the gas grill. I am already trying to plan our next getaway and Joe was very friendly and great to work with. Will definitely go again.

The property was exactly what we expected and were looking for, if your looking for a spa like atmosphere, this isn't for you. The cabin is old, small and its like being in a time warp to 1970. It was clean and quiet and the air conditioners worked surprisingly well. My four girlfriends and I rented this for two days and had a Blast!! The owners were nice and didn't bother us at all. Great time would stay again.

Enjoyable Getaway

We were lucky to find something with very short notice and this was a very well-kept vacation rental. The location was great and close enough to the lake to walk to easily. Having 2 bathrooms was also a plus with 5 adults, we weren't waiting in line! The deck was nice and had the weather been more cooperative, we would have enjoyed that area as well. We didn't have much time to spend over the holiday weekend but what we were able to do was very nice. From the Waterfront Grill to the Delavan Lake Supper Club, good food can be enjoyed. You can also rent boats on the lake, a little pricey, but if you want to get out and fish, there is that option and a pier is included in the home rental so you can dock any boat (just in case you trailer your own as well).

Beautiful view on the lake, huge yard, tons of bedding and towels, owners were very clear on our responsibilities. Flexible key pickup and drop off. Owners were helpful and friendly in sharing fun locations around town.

The house was perfect. Plenty of space inside and out. Great shopping and eating within a half mile. 20 good fishing lakes within a 30 mile radius.
