Description of the Delaware Region vacation cabin rental

This beautiful hand-hewn log cabin sits on 10 private acres located on a mountain just west of the catskills Park. There is a stream that runs just alongside the side of the cabin. The sound of water will lull you to sleep at night. The grounds are loaded with gardens and flowering trees from spring to fall. The winter offers cross country skiing right out the back door through the many acres of meadows and woods that surround this fairy tale cabin.

The cabin is fully equipped with all amenities and original art work throughout. The beds also feature down comforters and very comfortable mattresses. There is a fire place as well as a wood stove and central heat. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including a convection oven and stove. The surrounding area is rural farmland. A great place to get away from the businessl of life. There are restuarants and stores in neighboring Oneonta and many cultural sites in Cooperstown. The historic village of Franklin features a free library, theatre,antique shops and a train museum. bellayre Mountain and Platterskill Ski areas are 40 minutes away.
