Things To Do in Dennis
Stretching out into the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Cod on a map resembles a flexed arm with its hand curled into a fist. For most of the year the Cape is a quiet getaway locale, free from the congestion and stresses of the big city. From the green meadows to the crimson cranberry bogs, verdant forests of birch and beech trees, and of course the sparkling white sandy beaches, the Cape is a sublimely beautiful place. A treasure-trove of history, folklore, and myths about the area await discovery by interested travelers. The Cape's beauty and history help create a third attraction: its superb antique and arts and crafts shopping. Visitors will also be pleasantly surprised by the wealth of good dining, entertainment, and outdoor activities to be found in such a relatively small area.
Whether you're traveling solo or with your family, you'll find plenty of fun in Dennis year round. For culture buffs there's the Cape Cod Museum of Art with its art openings, Music & More Concerts and independent film series along with the world renowned Cape Cinema as well as several other fabulous art galleries and artisans along Route 6A. For the active visitor there's kayaking, canoeing and so much more. We have it all in Dennis. The sections below contain links to sites to help you plan your visit to Dennis. Enjoy!
