Description of the Depoe Bay vacation condo rental

Come to Depoe Bay, OR, the Whale watching capital, and enjoy one of our deluxe ocean-front condos. We have 2-BR (sleeps 6) and 3-BR (sleeps 8) available for full or partial week stays. Rent 7 nights in the same condo, and we'll pay the housekeeping fee. Visit our site for our great owner "Specials".

2-BR and 3-BR Unit amenities include cable TV, VCR/DVD player, stereo with CD player, gas fireplace, balcony/terrace, gas BBQ, washer and dryer, telephone, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, sleeper sofa and jetted tub. The 3-BR units have two master suites and two balconies/terraces.

Resort amenities include 3 pools and spas, tennis court, sport court, two fitness rooms, ping-pong, arcade games, outdoor children's play area, gift shop, video rentals and shared computer with internet.

Area Information

Depoe Bay is half way between Lincoln City and Newport, OR either of which is approximately 20 min away. The resort is within walking distance of the fishing village of Depoe Bay. There is a pod of whales that live off the rocks year round making this the Whale Watching capital.

Fun stuff to do: Visit the numerous "haunted" lighthouses and Newport's Aquarium and Marine Science Center, Lincoln City's Chinook Winds Casino, Historical Museum, Glass Art Studio and blow your own glass float, live theater, guided deep sea fishing trips, cultural center, pottery studio, wineries, hunt for agates & fossils, shop for antiques, shop at the discount mall, visit the salmon river estuary, walk on the beach and fly a kite.

Critter Comfort & Doggie Day Care available in Lincoln City 25 miles north of the resort.

Punk N Barry's Restaurant in Lincoln City is a great place for kids of all ages. Totally decorated Disney style; 8 page menu all home made soups. Complete ice cream fountain.

Tidal Raves (ocean view) is within walking distance of the resort and serves excellent food. You definitely need reservations whether going for lunch or dinner.

Awesome Stay!

We just had a wonderful stay at this location! We rented a similar condo in Westport,WA and by far this property was way superior! The unit was nicely appointed, with everything we could ask for. The views from the room were outstanding! We even saw some whales from our deck! The kids loved all of the choices in swimming pools. Depoe Bay is in the perfect location on the coast to make short day trips to many attractions. We will be back!

The facility and location was wonderful. We were a little skeptical not having seen our living arrangements before but were pleasantly surprised as to the accomodations. It was everything as had been described in the ad. Very clean and comfortable with spectacular views. The only disappointment was the grille that was pictured in the ad. When we arrived we discovered that it was not in working order. We had planned a grilled salmon dinner that evening with guests and had to purchase a grille. Had we known, we could have made other arrangements. It was a wonderful experience for all and would recommend staying at this facility.

Stunning views!

This resort is situated in an amazing location. We arrived and saw whales within the first five minutes. We continued to see them for the remainder of our stay. The views from our many windows could not have been better. The condo itself was well furnished and comfortable as well as roomy. There were three swimming pools to choose from, and our children were delighted to be able to swim both indoors and outdoors. This was a perfect place for us, and we made special memories. We hope to return in the future.

Pat - Thank you so much for helping us with our vacation! We had so much fun and the condo has everything we needed. We enjoyed looking for whales and found one on the one day we had nice weather. The indoor pool was nice and warm and we actually got to play tennis! It doesn't matter if the weather was sunny - there is soooo much to do around that area! The first thing I did after entering the condo was check out the view. It was spectacular.All I wanted to do was stay on the balcony and enjoy the view. The condo was bright and clean. The only issue I had was the uncomfortable sofa and chairs in the living room. Everything else was wonderful and I definitly would like to return for another amazing week at the beach.

We have stayed in one of these condos three times now and we have never been disappointed. They are lovely, confortable, and furnished with everything one would need in order to enjoy themselves. The whales, sea lions, and the ocean waves provide much entertainment. Having an elevator makes moving in and out a breeze. We will stay here again and again.

We saw the pod of "resident whales" several time a day - without leaving the unit. Amazing and wonderful. The unit was nicely furnished - the kitchen was fully equiped with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable - we'll rent here again.
