Description of the Depoe Bay vacation condo rental

Come to Depoe Bay, OR, the Whale watching capital, and enjoy one of our deluxe ocean front condos. We have studios (sleep 2) 2-BR (sleeps 6) and 3-BR (sleeps 8) available for full or partial week stays.

2-BR and 3-BR Unit amenities include cable TV, VCR/DVD player, stereo with CD player, gas fireplace, balcony/terrace, gas BBQ, washer and dryer, telephone, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, sleeper sofa and jetted tub.
Studio units have TV and VCR, mini fridge, coffee pot, and private balcony/terrace.

Resort amenities include 3 pools and spas, tennis court, sport court, two fitness rooms, ping-pong, arcade games, outdoor children's play area, gift shop, video rentals and shared computer with internet.

Area Description

Depoe Bay is half way between Lincoln City and Newport, OR either of which is approximately 20 min away. The resort is within walking distance of the fishing village of Depoe Bay. There is a pod of whales that live off the rocks year round making this the Whale Watching capital.

Fun stuff to do: Visit the numerous "haunted" lighthouses and Newport's Aquarium and Marine Science Center, Lincoln City's Chinook Winds Casino, Historical Museum, Glass Art Studio and blow your own glass float, live theater, guided deep sea fishing trips, cultural center, pottery studio, wineries, hunt for agates & fossils, shop for antiques, shop at the discount mall, visit the salmon river estuary, walk on the beach and fly a kite.

Punk N Barry's Restaurant in Lincoln City is a great place for kids of all ages. Totally decorated Disney style; 6 page menu all home made soups. Complete ice cream fountain.

Tidal Raves (ocean view) is within walking distance of the resort and serves excellent food. You definitely need reservations whether going for lunch or dinner.

Required Stay: 2-night minimum
Lodging Tax: 9%
Deposits: Reservations require payment in full by credit card only. Cancellation Policy: If your reservation is canceled more than 60 days from your arrival, 60% of total rental cost is refundable. Sorry, no refunds for cancellations less than 60 days from check-in date.
Other Fees: Housekeeping fees are: $50 for the studio unit; $72 for the 2-BR unit and $79 for the 3-BR unit.

We have stayed in one of these condos three times now and we have never been disappointed. They are lovely, confortable, and furnished with everything one would need in order to enjoy themselves. The whales, sea lions, and the ocean waves provide much entertainment. Having an elevator makes moving in and out a breeze. We will stay here again and again.

We saw the pod of "resident whales" several time a day - without leaving the unit. Amazing and wonderful. The unit was nicely furnished - the kitchen was fully equiped with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable - we'll rent here again.
