This unit has everything you need. The kitchen is very well equiped. The decor makes you feel welcome. Your are close to the pool and a close walk to the beach. It was nice having a stack washer and dryer in the unit. If and when I ever get back to Destin, I would try to secure this unit again. We had 4 children and 3 adults and we did not feel like we were on top of each other. With three TV's in the unit, the girls could watch what they wanted, the boys watched another TV and the adults could watch the news and weather. There are plenty of great restaurants and activities for the kids close by.

Our first time in Destin, It was wonderful!!! KItchen well stocked wtih utensils/dishes/pots/pans. T.V. in every major room. The beach was just minutes away. WE loved it! Everyone was wonderful and helpful in the main office. WE will come back again. They even had toys for the kids and boggie boards to use. They had big closets and a nice balcony view. It was not a new condo. but it was very very very nice. It had everything you would need for a wonderful week long vacation.

Nothing short of Amazing!

We were looking for a beautiful condo, close to the aqua water and white soft sands of Destin. Chateau La Mer was a perfect fit. What a value! The condo we were in was gorgeous - the decorating was beautiful. We used the pool and did some water aerobics to the fun music there. The people were nice. Don't miss this one...you'll be glad to get all you've paid for and more!

Three months in Paradise

Quiet, huge white sand beach nearly empty this time of year. Food and prices were terriffic. Accomodations and people were so friendly that we didn't want to ever go home.

Stayed at Chateau Le Mar 2 in Destin Florida - Unit #1104 - Very nice unit - Large condo nicely decorated, very clean - new bathrooms,very nice kitchen, new tile floors. We were very comfortable in this unit and complex- King size bed was very comfortable - Beach across the road was beautiful- Lots of pathways for walking and biking in front of the complex - Many stores and restaurants close by, many within walking and biking riding distance - Pool area was very nice and clean, meeting room available for playing cards, crafts and coffee hours We would defenitely return - but next time would like to stay longer

It is a great family place. Very affordable, a bit dated, but we didn't mind as we hardly stayed in the place spent most of our time at the close beach. Would probably come back with a larger group, great for family reunions. Best part, so close to such nice beach.

Perfect for families with children!

This was our first beach vacation as a family and it was wonderful. The condo was clean and very spacious in the Chateau La Mer II Condos, and it is also stocked with everything you need, just bring your clothes. The pool is only a few steps away from your front door. The private beach access is a short walk away and the sand and ocean are breath-taking. Beautiful. The Chateau La Mer II Condos is a quite-family location, with a playground and picnic tables, you can relax and enjoy every minute of your day. We are coming back soon that's for sure. Thanks Mark!

My family really enjoyed the visit to Destin and our stay at the Chateau La Mer II Condos. The condo was very pleasant, the heated pool was relaxing, and the landscaping was amazing. It was a short walk to a private beach for La Mer guests. We usually go to Gulf Shores, but we all agreed that the Destin Beach was much more attractive, with lovely, clear water. We would definately come back again!

The housing was great as well as the area of location. All shops are close by(within 10-15 mins from the housing). Perfect get away for families since people under the age of 25 are not allowed to house without an adult supervision :) therefore, it is not loud and there are no crazy young adults parties. Shore is 5 minutes away, walking distance. Amazing private beach. Everything was great. Just remember to bring all the necessary foods and drinks if you are not planning shopping around. Also, the person who helps you to register is an amazing guy. Walked us step-by-step through entire process, and also was answering all our phone calls if we needed anything. Highly recommend to book with them !!! :)
