Great location, great service, great vacation

My family spent the most wonderful week in August in Danka and Chris' lovely condo in Destin. My husband and I have been looking for that beach spot where our family can return year after year and we're so excited to have finally found it! Destin is the perfect place for a young family: the beach is gorgeous and clean, the water is crystal clear, and there was plenty to keep us entertained the rest of the time, from mini golf to water parks a short drive into town. And we love Pompano Joe's down the road! Try the Mahi Mahi Bajan and Pina Coladas, they are to die for. Good kids menu too - our 5 year old daughter was in heaven. It did rain for a couple of days, so I hit up the outlet mall a couple of times, and entertained ourselves with the games at the condo. Danka and Chris have been such gracious hosts too, making our stay so easy and hassle free. Their beautiful home is thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need for a week away! And my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities at Maravilla – pools, tennis and basketball courts, the gym. Really, this stretch of Destin is a place we'll be coming back to for years.

Maravilla Condo in Destin
July 6, 2011
I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the 2BR/2BA Maravilla Condo in Destin, the week of May 21-28. For my great surprise Destin, as well as Maravilla Community has tremendously changed (has been at least 9 years I did not come back to Destin). I felt I am somewhere in Paradise. Unbelievable community improvement – starting with all new businesses opened; Destin Commons Town Center (just 2 miles away from the Condo) is like WOW! The Property is well maintained and secured from those not staying at location. However in all our traveling in the area we never felt like we were not safe, the people that live in the area as well the management team of the Property were friendly and helpful. The beach was beautiful (...in fact the water was spectacular!) and having a set-up of beach umbrella and chairs every day was part of the fun. The condo was lovely and well cared for and close to everything the complex offers and is in great location to the local attractions. I like to cook and enjoyed having a fully stocked gourmet kitchen. Owners are very nice people to deal with. Thanks a lot Danka and Chris for sharing this wonderful place you have.

The best part about the apartment was I was able to simply walk in, no keys to get, keyless entry, no hassle with checking in, etc. Same thing when I left, I just left. It was like it was my own apartment! I did have a difficult time at first finding the entrance to the building, but it wasn't a really an issue. The apartment was very clean and furnished nicely. The only problem was it was cold most of the time (December); however, I actually enjoyed just staying inside the apartment, enjoying the view, and working on the computer. The internet was fast. The view was wonderful and you could see the sunset everyday. I would recommend this apartment.

This was my second year staying in this very clean, very nice, well equipped Condo right on the beach. The owner does everything possible and communicates quickly. I like that it is on the 2nd. floor with views of the ocean and I do not have to take an elevator and the free beach service is great and saves at least 100 dollars. I do not think you can beat this spot for the dollars. I look forward to the 3rd. year next October or before then. THANKS for a great vacation!!

The condo was fabulous, all the amenities and comfort one would need on vacation are there. Everything corresponded to the description. Very clean and well maintained. The owners were most helpful in assisting us - from answering questions, to giving us directions and helpful tips about our stay. The two pools, jacuzzi, and tennis court added to the great experience. The beach service was excellent - own chairs and an umbrella for those staying at the condo! The weather was fabulous, the water warm and clear, except for a few days, when an algae was present. We will definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives and will be back again. Thanks for everything!

Just what we were looking for

Great location, easy access to the beach, nicely laid out. Unit was actually a one bedroom, and had 2 bunk beds built into the hallway (like a closet). This was perfect for our 10 & 6 year old. Absolutely would rerent this condo!

We stayed in the 2br/2ba condo in June last year and in the 1+br/2ba in 2008. We felt at home in both of these lovely condos, tastefully decorated and comfortable, clean and stocked with everything we needed. The location is excellent so close to everything, we walked to Pompano Joe's and Captain Dave's restaurants. We loved the complimentary beach service and the computer with high-speed wireless Internet was another plus. Our son enjoyed all the toys and beach items provided in the condos. I was truly impressed with the customer service of Danka and Chris. Overall we had pleasant and memorable vacations in these two condos and will definitely come again! Sev, Franklin, TN

"The Sanctuary"

Although most people think of this condo as beach vacation spot, I must say it can also serve as a very nice spot in the winter months if you want a nice get-a-way. I stayed in the 2BR/2BA condo from mid November 2009 to March 2010. The condo is neat, clean and well stocked with all the ameneties one would need while in a "home away from home". (It is apparent that Danka & Chris take pride in their vacation home, as it is very well kept - especially considering the traffic that comes through these condos.) The location is a huge plus. Name it, and you are minutes from it... (shopping, great restaurants and great activities for children & teenagers) While in Maravilla Resort, the jacuzzi tub, tennis courts, and pools are all nice (included) amenities that certainly deserve mention. What else can I say? Did I mention a two minute walk to the beautiful sugar white Beach with gorgeous emerald green water? My wife took a gamble and booked this place for me over the internet and we were very pleased. We are already talking about booking again when our schedules permit. Book your stay at 1314 Maravilla. You'll be pleased with your choice. Enjoy!

The best family vacation place I have ever been

My family of 4 stayed in the 1+br/2ba condo for a week in August. Great location with proximity to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. Clean and safe swim pool, ideal for kids. We were very comfortable in the clean and elegantly arranged condo and appreciated the fully furnished kitchen and a closet full of useful beach items, such as sand toys, floaties, chairs and umbrellas. We greatly enjoyed the complementary beach umbrella and two chairs being set for us every day at the beach. The beach and the water at this location were fantastic in August, gentle waives, no seaweeds or jellyfish. The best family vacation place I have ever been in the US.

Wow! Thank you so much for a wonderful week in your condo. We had the absolute best time - we had only ever experienced the Texas coast and it does not hold a candle to the beauty of the Emerald Coast and the white beaches of Destin. I sometimes had to pinch myself on waking up and seeing the gorgeous view every morning from the balcony. The kids had the best time ever, saw so much sea life and had a great time collecting hermit crabs and snorkeling. The beach service worked out great and was a real treat - all staff polite and helpful.
Everything was more than perfect - we hope you would consider us on your list of future rentals, we just had the best time and thank you for lending us your beach home!!

We stayed in the 2br/2ba for a week in March. The condo worked out very well, plenty of room and very convienient to the beach and the popular shopping centers and eatery's. Even though it was Spring Break the condo is very quiet. Nice place for families. Thanks again!

We thank you for sharing your vacation home with us. We stayed in the one bedroom during spring break which provided a very comfortable stay. Being an end unit, the extra windows allowed for great sunlight. The balcony afforded a great view of the ocean! It was a great location for walking along the beach at all times of the day, even to a few restaurants. The set up of beach chairs and umbrella was quite a plus also. You had plenty of beach 'stuff' in the closet which would be great if you had little ones or additional family members with you. The second pool at the back of the buildings was warm and a pleasure to swim in. Kitchen was well equipped, and the internet access with the computer was another nice plus. I would definitely recommend this unit to others if you are looking to stay in Destin!
