Located on beautiful Okaloosa Island between Destin and Fort Walton Beach, this new resort is a vacationers dream. New in 2004, the amenities that this resort has to offer are great. This is the flagship of the whole Destin area. Not only do you have all the amenities of the Destin West Bayside but also the Destin West Gulfside via a new walkway across hwy 98. The lazy river on the bayside is a super fun place for kids and adults alike. Float on the river with the furnished tubes or you may like to jump into the pools. The hot tubs will soak all your aches and pains away. Then if you wish to go to the beach, simply cross over to the Gulfside via the new walkway and you have access to all that is offered there. A 5000 sq ft pool and a wonderful kiddy water garden are there for your enjoyment also. SO much fun for your whole family.
After a day in the sun you can then go back to your condo to relax or get ready for a night out. There are lots of resturants close by and lots of shopping. You would never be able to try them all.
Our Sandpiper 306 unit has all the comforts of home. There is a king master suite with adjoining bath with tub and shower. A large walk-in closet gives you lots of room to organize your clothes and relax.The queen guest room has an adjoining bath. The bunk room has a double bed on the bottom for extra sleeping room. There is a washer and dryer in the unit for your laundry needs. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals and there are plenty of dishes and serving pieces.
The living room has a queen sleeper sofa that can also be used for extra sleeping. You can spend lots of time on the nice patio, overlooking the lazy river and pools. This is especially pretty at night when the river is lit with fiber optic lighting.
All the comforts of home just for you!!!

Destin / Fort Walton has so many things to do. There is shopping, dining out, fishing, water sports, boat rentals, Gulfarium, Big Kahuna water park, golf, gym, etc.

 Relaxing and fun vacation, October 9, 2007

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Destin West Sandpiper 306. We took the our two grown daughters and our two grandkids. We had a wonderful time and the condo was very comfortable and decorated with a tropical theme. The balcony overlooked the pool area and the "Lazy River". Although we did walk over the sky bridge to the beach a couple of times, the grandkids preferred to splash the "Lazy River" every minute they could! The condo is located closer to Fort Walton but that is fine since there a plenty of good places to dine in either directions. The owner recommend Calhans in Destin and we ate there several times. It was delicious with very generouse portions. I would highly recommend this condo.
