Two pools (one heated in winter) and a hot tub located on premises. This condo is in the heart of Destin. It is within walking distance of the Crab Shack and Pompano Joe's. Enjoy shopping at the nearby Destin Commons or Silver Sands factory outlet. Your family will love it here. Jet ski rentals, etc. is located nearby at Pompano Joe's.

Area Information
In Destin it's all about water. And why not? With sugar white sand beaches and emerald green, crystal clear Gulf water, it's the perfect base from which to sail, wind surf, scuba dive or snorkel. SPring Break Trip

The place was nice. The neighbors were loud and parking was tight but we called and they worked with us to fix the problem.

Glad you liked our Gulfview Condo. Our condo has been recently updated with new furniture and new TVs. Noise during Spring Break is hard to predict. So glad the problem was resolved. There is a side parking lot and a back parking lot. Should have enough spaces for all the condos to have at least 2 vehicles. Since they are all 1BRs, people should not have more than that! Glad that was resolved too!

Clean and cost effective!

This condo was perfect for our family of four. The unit was very clean and well equipped. It was a little smaller than we are accustomed to but again, we fit well in it. The balcony views are nice, although not beachfront, you still have a nice view of the ocean. The pools and jacuzzi for this property were nice and well maintained. The beds were comfortable in GV 205 and the kitchen had everything we needed. The rental process was very easy and the rates for this condo were very cost effective compared to other similar beach homes/condos. Parking was not a problem and there are quite a few restaurants and activities within walking distance. The only con to this unit for us was that it does not have a washer and dryer. The common washer and dryer is literally steps away from the front door but at $1.50 per load and you have to dry each load 2 or 3 times, I recommend doing minimal laundry. Overall, I would recommend this condo and we would stay again.

We had a great time and the Condo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. My granddaughter and my daughter also enjoyed themselves. We went to the Harbor walk and watched the fireworks from the patio of the restaurant. We loved Dave's Dogs that was located at the Harbor Walk. We loved the shopping outlet and all of the local hospitality. This was our second trip to Destin and it is so full of things to do and places to see. We meet many nice families at the Gulfview Condos. We came home tanned by the sun and feeling relaxed and waking up each morning wide awake and full of energy. We appreciated the convenience of the location. My son and daughter in law also stayed down the street from us in a place by the Whales Tail. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. The condo was really nice. We enjoyed the two swimming pools. We also enjoyed the beach. We did however, feel it was overpriced. We will be returning to Destin, but probably not to Gulfview. We have found some less expnesive places to stay. If Gulfview brought their prices down, we would definitely be interested in staying there again.

Overall, my experience in the gulfview condo was great. Nice, clean rooms, beautiful pools, with everything I needed. The only problem I had was when I talked to the owner about renting, he told me I could stay an extra night for free, as there was no one renting the following day. Come to find out we had an hour to be out of the condo, cause someone was renting that day.

The condo was right on the beach which was great. The condo and surrounding condos really need some rennovation. It definately looked like the oldest condos in Destin that were built. The beds were comfy. The condo is very dated- the gate to balcony broken, a chair at the breakfast table lost its wheel, the refrig was cracked, but the AC worked fantastic. It sould benefit from major doses of TLC. We loved Destin and plan to return but will search other options for condos-

We enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a family of 4, we even had two friends join us for the weekend which made it very cozy but doable. Heated pool and hot-tub came in handy our first two days until the days warmed up and we "lived" at the beach. Having always rented ON the beach, I was concerned about having the beach across the street. That was not an issue, it was SO close. Location of complex could not be better in relation to other things to do and see. Washer and Dryer were not operational on our level but eventually found some available and working. We encountered one noisy night where the upstairs neighbors (teen boys) were horsing around and we thought they might come through the ceiling. A visit upstaris to "redirect" their mother finally allowed our children to get to sleep. Thanks for sharing your home with us. The Wheelers

Family fun at the Beach

This was my family of four's first time at the beach and it was great. The condo was nice and we saved money cooking all our meals. I would recommend this place to anyone with small kids the pool and distance to the beach made it a real find. Next time we need to bring more condiments and such from home.

The perfect vacation

This WAS the perfect vacation. My sister and I took some time away from kids and husbands before the busy school year began. I could not have asked for a better time. The weather was perfect. The condo was 100x better than I expected. The location was perfect, close to the beach, close to downtown Destin, close to Sandestin, close to the outlet and regular mall. I can't wait to return. We may have to start making this a tradition.

The location was superb, amenities excellent, and the surf was "to die for." As for the condo---WOW! Relaxing and easy access to the pools, hot tub, and grills made the weekend extremely enjoyable!
