Spring Break 2013

Our family reunion was a success with our son and daughter and their respective families joining us in enjoying the beautiful sand beaches of Destin and the lovely rooms at the Enclave with the balcony overlooking the rolling waves of the ocean. The little ones enjoyed sand castles and swimming at the shore and TV in the rooms. The adults enjoyed walks along the beach and board games we brought to play at night. We took turns cooking for the group in the well appointed kitchen. The only thing lacking were the hot pads to remove items from the oven. (We substituted wash cloths.) The weather was delightful, the accommodations luxurious, an all together wonderful experience.

This is the perfect place, if looking for a quick get away. it is inexpensive and right across from the beach. also walking distance to some great restaurants and bars. will stay here again!!!

A Great Getaway

We had a small family reunion of eleven people to stay in Floridays over the Thanksgiving holiday (7 adults and 4 kids) Beautiful home! Very clean! The kids room was wonderful. Each child had a bed of their own. The dining room had plenty of seating for the whole family to eat together. The living room could use some more seating to accommodate larger families as it only seats about 4 people. One of the bedrooms on the 3rd floor has a queen size bed and it takes up the whole room. Most bedrooms had a tv except for the smallest room on the 3rd floor and the bedroom on the 2nd floor. The game room was a big hit with our kids and so was the pool. The rental company was very helpful and accommodating. All in all it was a great 4 days at the beach. We would definitely rent Floridays again if given the opportunity.

We recently rented the Mermaid Beach House on Oskaloosa Island. I found this beach house on the internet and I thought the pictures looked pretty good. I called with a few questions and I spoke with John, who was very helpful and pleasant. I decided to book this beach house for June. When we got to our rental I was overwhelmed with how gorgeous the place was. The pictures look great, but could not describe the beauty and character of the house. There were three levels, three bedrooms, a hide-a-bed, 4 bathrooms, 2 decks, a patio and the most beautiful view of the golf. I thought I died and went to heaven. The beach was not crowed at all. The water was clear and beautiful. We also lucked out and got perfect weather. I would definitely recommend the Mermaid Beach House to anyone with a large group. I can’t wait to go back again. The bottle of wine that was waiting for us when we got there was a very nice touch too!

Wonderful Property

This is a first class property and provided a relaxing vacation on the beach. The pictures of the property are deceptive and do not adequately present how beautiful the home is and how close it is to the ocean. If Destin/Ft Walton is your choice for a vacation please consider this property for your stay. The management company is excellent and handled all our needs.
