BEACH RETREAT #409 is located on the top floor, offering a panoramic view of the Gulf. There are two elevators , plus stairs and an interior trash chute that service each floor. Beach Retreat Condominiums is a newer, 44 unit , 4 story complex, located in a private, gated Beach Front community.
BEACH RETREAT #409 is professionally decorated, with tiled floors and balcony. The master bedroom has a Gulf view, opens to the balcony, is furnished with custom black out draperies, KING size pillow top mattress , large flat screen LCDTV, large walk in closet, and is beautifully furnished. The adjoining bath has tub/shower, with double vanities. Tropical ceiling fan , mirrored wall flanked by large antique "key West" wooden shutters to enhance your panoramic Gulf view .
The King guest Bedroom also has a tropical flair , and also an adjoining bath with a tub/shower . There is a view of the pool from this room . A flat screen LCDTV is wall mounted , and DVD player.
The "CREW QUARTERS" contain custom built bunks to accomodate an adult on the bottom bed, which has a regular twin mattress and , plenty of room for an adult to sit upright comfortably . There is also a custom built corner closet to contain your personal items, a TV/DVD/VCR.
The living area is complete with a fully stocked kitchen, granite counter tops, a pantry, breakfast bar for two. Adjoined by a dining area for 6 . The living room is fully mirrored, once again to enhance the panoramic view of the Gulf, has a large flat screen LCDTV, stereo, WIFI , DVD/VCR player , sleeper sofa, three comfy chairs and opens onto a 27 ' balcony with chairs, chase lounges, bistro table and eating table . There is a full size , stack, washer/dryer.
To complete the custom decor, the ceilings were glazed with an aged fresco faux finish. The unit has custom built in surround sound, with volume controls in each room and on the balcony , which overlooks the Gulf of Mexico.
We have provided a bucket of beach toys, a Things To Do In Destin guide book and the unit is cleaned and inspected after each rental. WE also use "green cleaning" products and allergy AC filters .

This unit has a great view of the Beach and ocean and is an end unit so you can see down the coast well also. Location is perfect with restuarants, drug store and all other shopping close but not Destin traffic. Pool was good size. Unit was decorated well and all the king beds were comfortable. Will definately be staying here again sometime in the future.

I took my 3 granddaughters, a friend, and my mom to the beach for Sring Break 2010 and rented for the first time, a condo from the VRBO website, that was recommended to me by my sister-in-law. To be quite honest, I was a bit hesitant to rent somewhere I knew nothing about, but to my pleasant surprise, all was very nice and completely accommodating.

We are a group of five ladies that have been vacationing in Destin for the past 22 years. This condo fit our needs perfectly. The decor is beautiful, it was nice having a pool so close, and the walk across the road to the beach was nothing. We would definitely request this condo again.
Absolutely fablous week in Destin. We have stayed in # 409 and just love the accomodations and the view says it all.
