Wonderful Setting

July 9, 2012

This was our first time to stay in this area of Destin, as we are usually much more west. The condo at Surfside was quite roomy, and wonderfully equipped. There are even some beach items in a closet guests can use during their stay. The large balcony has 4 entry doors, which lets early risers quietly get to the balcony. This would be a super condo for anyone who wants to stay for an extended time--great closet space. You can walk to the Whale's Tail for great meals or drive to other venues. There is covered parking in 2 garages, which sometimes may be almost full, but we always found spots for our 2 cars. All in all, this was a great place for our family to stay as our older daughter got married at Henderson Park Inn--we were less than 5 miles away.

Home away from home

Very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable home in a terrific location. I rate it 4 stars because some aspects could have been better (screened porch, grill, garage door and dishwasher operation). Also, we thought when we rented it that the home had a private pool, which it does not. The community pools are close, though.

What a great home to stay in on our trip to Destin. It was conveniently located to the beach, and restaurants, beautifully decorated and maintained, and really made our vacation feel like a vacation. A real pleasure to stay in this lovely home.
