Welcome to Paradise on the Beach, Unit 1005, where you will enjoy a relaxing and stress free vacation. Sit on the spacious private balcony for your morning coffee, or watch the many Dolphins swim by in the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. You want to see a beautiful sunset/sunrise? You’re challenged to find another as beautiful as the ones you will experience in Florida! All the while sitting on your own balcony without a single care of the daily “grind”. (Each room allows for entry onto the balcony without disturbing any other occupants in the unit.) This unit sleeps 6/8 people; it is a 2BD/2BA unit, including a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, with a large lighted closet & a makeup area, and a connecting bathroom with a walk in shower. The guest room has two double beds, with a large closet and its own connecting bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo. There is a dining room, kitchen breakfast area and a snack bar with a view of the gulf. The living room has two chairs, the dining room table seats six, with an additional 2 seats in the breakfast area of the kitchen, and a snack bar that seats three. The kitchen is fully equipped and all the linens are supplied. Each bedroom, as well as the living room, has its own flat screen TV with a DVD player. Need to wash that beach wear? Sure! This unit is equipped with its own washer and dryer. In case you can’t completely get away, this unit boasts wireless internet at no additional charge.

About Surfside

Surfside Resort has inside air conditioned hall corridors and outside covered parking. Located on the first floor of the resort are several amenities. A fitness room provides any individual the opportunity continue with their workout schedule. Hungry, how about the onsite restaurant, Rick's Crab Trap? It caters to being family friendly with several menu items, ranging from seafood to hamburgers. How about an afternoon cocktail beside one of several pools? The Tiki Bar outside serves food and drinks, weather permitting. Sports enthusiast will love the outside tennis and basketball courts, with a sauna to aid those aching pains. There is plenty of room to sunbathe with a large sun deck out by the pools. Ready for the beach? A sky bridge takes you right onto the sandy white beaches. A beach set, which includes two chairs and one umbrella, is our gift to you and is provided at no additional charge. Your vehicle and your belongings are safe at Surfside with 24 hour security (not that it‘s needed).

Silver Sands Factory Outlet is the largest designer outlet center in the Southeast & is about 1/2 mile to the East. The Destin Commons has a Rave movie theater and restaurants which is about 2 1/2 miles West. On site or nearby: sailing, jet skiing, deep sea fishing charter boats, boating, diving/snorkeling, para sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and dolphin watching boat rides. There are golf courses, miniature/putt putt golf, go-kart tracks, and the Big Kahunas Water Park. There are brochures in the lobby area. Also ask the front desk about our water sports on Surfside's Beach. We have a beach service that can provide you with some of the water sports. Destin also has a large variety of restaurants in our area. The front desk can answer any and all of your questions. Feel free to call the
front desk and ask them any questions you might have about the area. Don't forget to look in the lobby for brochures demonstrating many more activities!

The Destin Commons shopping area has activity days for kids, check with their office. We have an on-site restaurant Rick's Crab Trap and a Tiki Bar out by the pool serving food everyday at 11am weather permitting. Pompano Joe's is a family seafood restaurant about five miles to the East on Scenic Gulf DR. It's on the water. Captain Dave's is another family seafood restaurant also on the water on Scenic Gulf Dr about eight miles to the East. I have a print out of restaurants, shopping areas, things to do and see while you are on vacation, waiting for you to use at your convenience in the condo. Three New Orleans restaurants recently opened at Harbor Walk Village. Pat O'Briens Commanders Palace and Camellia Grill. There are also other restaurants and shops and a covered and outside parking area.

Our family stayed at this location the week after the Fourth of July. I have rented loctions before where the pictures make the rental look good. In this case, the pictures really do represent the condition of this fabulous condo. It was a great location with many amenities. Great access to the beach, pool, hot tubs and local establishments. Great value!! The owner was great to work with and the trip was exceptional. I definately will consider this location for future vacation rentals.

Very nice accomodations in the condo as advertised. Sleeping and living arrangements worked out perfectly for family of four having two teenagers. Minor disappointment with activity courts of Resort, as many lights were out making it too difficult to use tennis courts in evening when cooler. Not much of a portable basketball goal. Restaraunt in Resort was good. Good location, grocery store nearby, etc.

We stayed in June 09 and had a great time. The condo is beautiful and has incredible views! Millie was great to work with and we'll be back. It is also very convenient to have the Tiki bar for food and drinks along with a very nice resteraunt if you don't want to go out. We were able to take the fish that we caught downstairs to the resteraunt and they will cook it however you want it for about $10 or so. They did a great job with ours and we had them cook it 3 different ways on 2 nights. I would recommend staying here to my friends and family!
