We loved our stay at this house. It was the perfect size for 6 people, and the location (

Spent a weekend in this fabulous home! I was attending a workshop at Penland and my husband flew in for the weekend so we had a great house instead of a hotel room! Very "hip and cool" interior. We felt like we were staying in a house featured in one of the home interior magazines. We were so lucky it was free for a quick weekend visit!

Three friends and I stayed here for a girls' weekend. The house is really comfortable and beautiful, and the hosts were warm and accommodating. The house is in a great location, close to the highway and to downtown. It was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated, stylish yet comfortable--which made it better than staying in a hotel. It was more like staying at the home of some friends with really good taste. And the hosts gave wonderful recommendations for food and activities. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is because we were the very first guests in the home (it's brand-new and eco-friendly), and the owners still had some minor kinks to work out (such as wifi access throughout house). But they were very open to feedback and I'm sure they will make the house a 5-star experience right away. In fact, we will check the availability of this house as our first choice when we're planning a return trip to Asheville. Highly recommended.
