Chateau La Mer 10-E

Excellent location. Complex is cross the street from the beach and very near the shopping district. The street outside the complex has wide concrete sidewalks for walkers/joggers and the area is in a very nice neighborhood with beautiful condos and homes.The Buildings in our complex appear to be 2-Story Townhouses with 3-4 units in them. The common grounds were kept up nicely and the outdoor pool was heated. Our unit was very large and comfortable but was an older unit in need of some upkeep. Only problem was parking - there should be a dedicated spot for each unit with guest parking in an overflow. There were many times we would come back and find no place in front of our unit to park, so we would have to park at another unit (about a block away) and walk. We knew of one unit in our building that had 3 vehicles and another had 2, and it was always "first come, first serve". Should mention that two of us in our party of 3 have handicaps that warrant a handicap placard for the car. All in all, a very nice unit an would probably return.

I THANK YOU FOR YOUR REVIEW AND YOU ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT THE PARKING SITUATION! THE OVERFLOW LOT IS BY THE TENNIS COURTS BUT FEW PEOPLE KNOW THIS. THERE WERE SOME TEENAGERS RENTING A NEARBY CONDO AND EACH OF THE 8 OR 10 BOYS HAD THEIR OWN CAR. IT WAS NOT ONE OF MY RENTALS AS I DO NOT RENT TO ANYONE UNDER 25. GLAD THAT YOU HAD A GOOD TIME AND I DO HOPE THAT YOU WILL RETURN. MOST OTHER UNITS IN THIS COMPLEX ARE MORE UP TO DATE.

We stayed here 5 days and loved it. We had plenty of room, the condo was decorated nice and beach themed. And the beach was just right across the road. We will definitely stay here again!

a great place to stay and enjoy beach life. Unit is on the base side of the beach but the neighbors have a great bar to get together at and have a great time. The walkway in the along the road is outstanding for morning walks or morning runs. I would stay here long term if i didn't need a garage. what a place to stay!!!!
