Our family just returned from a week's stay at this condo. This was our first condo experience and it did not disappoint. The unit is very clean and nicely decorated. It was well equipped with everything we needed and it was close to everything. The walk to the beach was minimal and the view was spectacular. We will definitely recommend this unit to friends and family and plan to return to Destin and stay in this unit.

Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful condo for a week just over a month ago, and we're still thinking about it! We are long time Emerald Coast visitors, and without question, this condo was the absolute best we have ever stayed in! First off, it was the largest unit we have ever seen for a 2 bed/2 bath, really spacious & roomy. Full kitchen, dining area, large living room area, wonderful gulf-front master suite with huge walk-in closet and attached bath. The second bath was also really good size, as was the second bedroom. No bunks in the hall at the Sterling Shores! The balcony was also one of the largest we have ever had the opportunity to experience. With regard to the decor, the owner did an excellent job remodeling it. Everything is top-notch, extremely clean, comfortable, and has an "island" feel to it. Plus, there is a full size washer & dryer in the unit. The pictures on the page don't quite do it justice. Really nice! As far as the location, we loved how the Shores is laid out! It's tucked in, a bit more protected from the traffic on HWY 98 than many of the other properties, the grounds by the main pool are plush & green, and the walk to the beach is about 2 minutes across a little brick pathway on old 98. Vehicle traffic moves very slow, if there is any that is. We have walked much farther than that in the past, for true same side of the street ocean front properties. Some people have mentioned the noise of the little airport that's located not too far from the Shores. We were AMAZED at how well built the Shores is, in that when we were in the unit, we never heard a plane, not once! Really solid, quiet building. We also never heard any other doors to other units slamming, people walking to their units, nothing. That's fairly rare in our experience and a welcome treat! Check-in and payment was a breeze. Paid in advance, and the owner then emailed us the door codes. No keys, no wristbands! This was an awesome way to check in! No standing in line at the front desk, just drive up, and literally go up to the unit, punch in the code, and you are there! After a 15 hour drive from WI, we really appreciated that aspect of arrival! The owner also arranged for an early check-in for us, which we really enjoyed. All in all, we had no problems or complaints about this unit or complex! Loved, loved, loved it! We highly recommend this particular unit and will definitely stay here again! You will not be disappointed!

What a lovely home away from home! The condo was beautifully decorated. Everything was new, fresh and clean. The grounds and both pools were very clean and well-maintained and the white sand beach and crystal clear water was spectacular. We had dinner on the balcony a couple of evenings and the view was incredible. It is very convenient to restaurants, shopping and other activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We would highly recommend this property to our friends and relatives and hope that we will be able to return for another stay in the future.
