Private Pool; the pool has optional heating and, therefore, available for use all year round!. The pool has a wall around it with foliage and prevents passing pedestrians or cars from seeing you all.

Recreational activities; you will be pleased to know there are golf courses, waterparks, go-karting, various restaurants, fire work displays, dolphin cruises, science museum (great fun for the whole family) some fabulous outlet malls (Silver Sands), etc. within an approx. 3 mile drive and I would be only too happy to provide further information on these activities if you so wish (some activities are limited over the low season months).

Supermarket;
at your convenience, there is a supermarket (Publix) less than a mile from Peace Place, for you to stock up on your supplies, as and when the need arises (there are both gas and coal bbq grills for your enjoyment near to the private pool).

All our guests enjoy free WiFi and cable television.

Apartment & Main House;
Peace Place has the uniqueness of the apartment being attached to the main house, so it can be used either separately by closing it off (it is self-contained) or alternatively by opening it up into the main house, it becomes one home. The choice is purely yours and your groups. You can alternate its use to meet your individual needs, e.g. if someone in the group (e.g. grandparents) might be looking for a little quieter time during the day or evening, this is easily accommodated by yourselves. As the apartment is self-contained, some families/groups love the fact that there are two kitchens, two washing machines and two dryers for use – a great perk when trying to cook and clothes wash with big groups.

THE MAIN HOUSE sleeps 14. Double French doors invite you into this charming home which is highlighted by ten foot ceilings, crown molding, treyed ceilings and a fireplace.

THE APARTMENT sleeps 6. It's a self contained 2br/2ba apartment with its own living area, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, private entrance, and a private deck with chairs, table and sun umbrella. The pool, BBQ grill and parking are easily accessible from the apartment.

YOUR HOSTS, David & Katherine are actually English and came over to the Destin area having fallen in love with it so much; with its white sand and emerald clear water, friendly locals and fabulous weather they decided to invest in what they see to be the perfect vacation home. They have also bought another house within a 10 minute drive so they can be on hand to help out and offer an outstanding service.

SMALLER GROUPS We have some of the nicest weather of the year in northwest Florida In the “Off Season”. That’s August 15 to March 15, and the Month of May. Peace Place is available then as 6Br/5Bath or 4Br/3Bath.
