Description of the Destin vacation home rental

Gulf view vacation home, private pool 4 kings, 2 queens, 7 bunk beds (1 bedroom with 3 bunk beds and 1 bedroom with 4 bunk beds), sleeper sofa, private pool size 14x32, pool table first floor.

Check in 2:00 directly at the house, key less entry code provided. First floor and pool area will be available at check in. May have restricted access to complete linen service by 2:00 p.m.

This magnificent home completed May 2008 with eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms is located in beautiful Frangista Beach, Destin. The Mediterranean style home has 4200 square feet of living space, 600 square feet of living space, 600 square feet of decks and private pool. Access to the private beach is just a one minute walk.

The first floor is a wonderful open gathering area with tray ceilings, custom murals, ample seating and a 42 inch large flat screen TV. The kitchen is state of the art with granite counter tops and Viking stainless steel appliances. The dining room and breakfast bar have ample seating for meals and games. This floor also has a master queen suite, a custom built bunk room which sleeps 3 and a game room with pool table.

The second floor has two beautiful balconies, 3 bedrooms and a media room with large flat screen TV.

The third floor is comprised of two opulent king masters with private baths. The third room is a custom built bunk room with sleeps 4.

Our Mikonos vacation, May 26, 2012 - June 2, 2012

Mikonos, the house, was wonderful for a beach retreat and family reunion like ours. For Grandparents, 5 Children, Spouses, and 7 grandchildren it fit us perfectly. The pool was a tremendous hit, and the short walk to the beautiful beach near by made the beach walks easy and enjoyable. Mikonos from a maintenance standpoint was disappointing. The A/C did not work well until the third day we were there, and the refrigerator NEVER worked correctly. We threw away over $50 worth of spoiled food because of it, continually had to hand mop up water all over the kitchen floors, and even had food thaw where it was supposed to be frozen, and freeze where it was supposed to be only cooled. One blender in the kitchen fired food and liquid all over everything from the side when first turned on, so it was never used. Otherwise, the house is great for a beach retreat; however, folks on vacation do not want to have to tolerate or maintain squeaky doors, leaky refrigerators, curtains falling off the rods, and 84 degree bedrooms for tired grandchildren in the middle of the night! We had 6 couples from our church staying at the house and we had a great time. Plenty of room and everyone was able to have their privacy with the bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool was kept clean and we had an overall great time
