Description of the Destin vacation home rental
Mainsail Cottage sleeps up to 10 and has plenty of room to spread out. This cottage has a balcony that overlooks the pool about 30 feet off our patio. Sooo convenient, we only have to walk a few steps to the gas grills at this pool to do our grilling. Pool has refreshment machines as well with plenty of lounge chairs.
We have 3 bedrooms and a den with a sofa that makes into a sofa sleeper that sleeps 2 and it has a TV for games. The family room has a queen size sofa sleeper. The master suite comes with ample room for a baby crib or Pak N Play. The master suite has a comfy lounge chair for just relaxing or reading that great book. Suite has a walk-in closet and master bath has a spa tub and separate shower.
Beach cottage is only a 3 minute walk to the beach just past a couple of cottages and a short walk past the tennis courts and beach front pool and you are there. No walking on the side of a street, but right on the walkway in the middle of this gated community.
Beach Cottage has had a face lift with new carpet, several pieces of new furniture, decor and more.
Kids & adults have so many things to do at this community from basketball, tennis, shuffleboard, saunas, hot tub and the tykes have a play area with a small waterfall and wading pool with cork flooring for safety. No need for the kids to get bored.

Area Information
Shopping Galore - Just across the street is the Silver Sands Outlet Shopping Mall with great shopping, so need to take a car as this is only a short walk. Just across from our cottage to the side street is another shopping are with grocery store, bar and grill, TCBY and more.
Take a short drive and we have 2 more big shopping areas even a Bass Pro Shop for the guys at Destin Commons and the newer Grande Boulevard Mall. No need to drive a long way to a restaurant, we have so many with a mile from Mainsail.
So whether you are out for just a relaxing time, sight seeing, shopping or fishing, we have it all in Destin.
