Description of the Destin vacation townhouse rental

This beautiful 3 level Townhouse is centrally located and directly on a private beach. One step off of the deck and you are in the sand!

There are(3)different ways that this Townhouse can be rented. It consists of Units A & B. They can be rented separately or together for a larger family or party. With advanced planning, for events such as family reunions, weddings and business meetings, it is possible for us to facilitate larger groups up to and exceeding 60 or more people, by using other townhomes in the same complex.

Unit A consists of the two top levels. Level two has a kitchen, dining area, living room with queen size sleeper sofa, 1/2 bath and deck. Level three has a master bedroom with private bath and a guest room and another full bathroom. An addition to the master bedroom is an outcove observation room that we like to call the "Crow's Nest" that allows for fantastic views of sunrises and sunsets, as well as, unobstructed views up and down the beach. Unit A can sleep up to 6 people.

Level B is on the first level and has one bedroom, one bath, living room, efficiency kitchen (or fourth bedroom), and deck. Unit B can sleep up to 4 people.

Units A & B both have private entrances from Scenic Gulf Highway (Old Highway 98) and can be connected by an interior door. The private beach and large beach deck are accessed via the private/keyed staircase from all levels. The beach and large deck are accessible from all sleeping areas without interfering with anybody else's privacy.

There are several good restaurants within walking distance and shopping at "Silver Sands" the worlds largest outlet mall is less than a mile east.

Area Description

Destin is a family oriented vacation area. There are 17 golf courses in the area and has Florida's largest for hire fishing fleet.

GREAT VACATION, August 10, 2009

We rented this unit with one other family. There were 8 of us. It had ideal accomodations for two families. We had a few issues with the t.v. in the living area and remotes and the system in general...but all others were fine. I would highly recommend this unit. It is right on the beach and had everything you need to be furnished for the week.

Great spot right on the beach in Destin, near Pompano Joe's. For the lower floor (10B)...nothing fancy for living arrangements, but clean overall, tile floors, microwave/mini-fridge, celing fan over bed, and good deck/patio overlooking the beach/water. Friendly/easy going owner. Would suggest staying here (10B) if you're looking to be right on the beach, want a good value, and go in knowing not to expect anything fancy for accomodations/kitchen.
