Description of the Dinan vacation villa rental

Location...location...location...Villa des Remparts is a unique 3 bedroom restored 18C stone villa located in the desirable 'District Historique' of Dinan with spactacular views of the famous medieval ramparts.

Ground Floor: a Grand Salon overlooking the ramparts with high ceilings, tall windows, stone walls, large stone fireplace, polished terracotta tile floors and antique pine furnishings. A separate eat-in Breton-style kitchen with local granite worktop is fully equipped.

First Floor: a grand staircase leads to 3 airy bedrooms, one 4-poster and one double, both with breathtaking views of the ramparts, and one twin room facing the quiet cobbled Rue Michel. The bedrooms feature oak floors, large windows and ceiling fans for comfortable sleeping on the warmest summer day. The large bathroom is fully tiled with oversize shower and double sink.

Free parking is on-site next to the 'Boules' court/barbecue terrace (parking can be a real problem in Dinan centre, but you will have your own space at the rear of the Villa, so no hassles of not being able to find a parking space each time you use your car).

Within its stone ramparts, Dinan's beautifully preserved half-timbered buildings and narrow cobbled lanes, ancient monasteries, restaurants and local artisan shops attract over a half million visitors year round, second only to Mont St. Michel (both 'must sees' in a visit to Brittany).

Villa des Remparts is located just minutes from the rugged coast, beaches, golf courses, romantic islands and the Pink Granite Coast, but relax and unwind in Dinan- take a stroll along the ramparts with their commanding views of the old town and countryside ending at the 14C Chateau and Jardin des Anglais. Explore the ancient monasteries, museums and unique local craft shops that Dinan is famous for or walk down to the old Port of Dinan and enjoy the fresh seafood in local waterside restaurants.
