Description of the Divide vacation home rental
The Great Divide Retreat is located on 1.25 acres at 9100 feet right outside the community of Divide, Colorado. The home is wheelchair accessable and Pet Friendly. The Property has a beautiful view of Pikes Peak. There are many different species of wildlife living on and near the property, such as deer, elk, bear and fox.
This Divide Retreat has often been referred to as being located in the middle of paradise and a romantic retreat. It is located 25 miles from Colorado Springs,13 miles from Cripple Creek, 75 miles from the the beautiful ski resort of Breckenridge and Denver is only an hour and a half away. There are wonderful hiking trails, fishing and over 150 miles of national forest trails through the nearby Pike National Forest (great atv and hiking trails).
The home is wheel chair accessable with a large bath which perfect for those how have special needs. We are also Pet Friendly.

Colorado has lots of fun things to do. We love to go white water rafting. One of the top ten rafting areas is nearby. The hiking and fishing are great. There are over 150 miles of trails in the Pike National Forest starting right up the road. We also have a great place called “11 Mile” to go fishing and boating. Also the Ranch is located 83 miles from the SKI LIFTS at Breckenridge.
Of course the Colorado Springs area has many great places to visit. The Pikes Peak Cog Railway, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Glen Erie Castle, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Cripple Creek, The Royal Gorge and Seven Falls are a few of the neat places to visit. Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City are great places to go shopping during the summer. And of course, no visit is complete without a trip to the Broadmoor Hotel Resort.
