Description of the Dorado vacation home rental

Our vacation home, Chalets de Dorado del Mar, is located on a cul-de-sac in the prestigious Dorado del Mar elegantly manicured community. This beautiful home has a private back yard with a pool that fits 6-8 people comfortably (bigger than a Jacuzzi and smaller than the average pool). This is a private 2 story, 3 bedroom + den, 2 car garage beach house. Additionally, this vacation property also offers 24hr security. You are a few minutes drive away from the Embassy Suites Dorado Beach Resort Golf & Casino. You can walk along the beach and participate in the hotel amenities such as golf, shopping and other conveniences. Dorado is located on the north coast of the island of Puerto Rico just 20-30 minutes from San Juan, Old San Juan, and Plaza las Americas (the largest shopping mall in the Caribbean). Relax and take in the tropical lifestyle and surroundings of this small quiet town. The weather is incredible, the water is pristine, the people are friendly, and the food is delicious.

Local Vendors just outside the Dorado del Mar gated community and within walking distance are a multitude of shops including grocery stores, ice cream parlors, 24hr pharmacy and much more!

Gorgeous Place!

We stayed at this house because it was closed to a family wedding we had to attend. From the moment we entered to the house we loved it! We felt right at home! We stayed at Chalets de Dorado del Mar and had an absolute great time. We had a family of four and had more than enough room to spread out and relax. The home was beautifully furnished and was meticulously maintained. Great location to travel to either side of the island. But no real reason to do so with so much to do right there. Will definately return!

Nice Property

The Torres home was exceptionally clean and had a very liveable floor plan. There were three adults and one teen. The owner's parents were waiting for us when we arrived and took us out at at 9:30 PM and showed us where to find a restaurant and the grocery store. They also called twice during the week to see how we were doing and answered any questions. They gave us good restaurant tips as well as wise advise to stay close to home on the 4th of July because of all the crowds that day. The local panaderia (sp?) was a good place for a cheap breakfast or lunch. El Lodrillo in town was also a good restaurant.We didn't find the Embassy Suites beach very inviting and only found Dorado Beach on our last day. It was very nice and I wished we had found it earlier. The washer and dryer are brand new and very nice. Laundry detergent, etc. is provided. The master bed is a very comfortable platform bed. There were plenty of linens. Sometimes only having one TV was problematic with adults and teens in the same house! Except for the rain (every day but one) we had a great trip!

What a beautiful home!!!! From the moment we entered until the moment we had to leave, we felt as if we were at home. We travel to PR every year because of family, so we've decided as long as this home is available we will never stay at a hotel again. It was also nice to have the chance to entertain our family. Convenient to CVS, Walgrens, Starbucks, grocery store and beach located at the Embassy. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a vacation home.

I'd like to recommend this home to anyone traveling with a family. It is a home away from home. Convenient location, close to fast foods and pharmacies. The beach is magnificent. Best of all were the owners, the Torres, who did everything they could to make us comfortable. We will definitely recommend this home to friends and family and shall return one day.

Spectacular Vacation Home - Great Value!

My fiancé and I had a vacation of a lifetime in Puerto Rico. This house was is absolutely beautiful! From the moment we drove up we felt a sense of tranquility and relaxation. When you walk into the house you are greeted with the soothing sounds of a small water fountain tucked away nicely underneath the staircase. The house was clean and decorated with a modern tropical style that complimented the home nicely. It's very big with an open floor plan that gives it a nice flow. The outdoor pool area was my favorite part of the house. We spent countless hours sunbathing and relaxing by the pool sipping cocktails. The house is also conveniently located a short distance away from the Embassy Suites Hotel which has a beautiful secluded beach area as well as a nice bar area where you can get the best food and drinks! I would definately recommend this house to anyone who wants to have a fun and relaxing vacation in paradise.
