Description of the Dorset vacation home rental

Midway between Rutland and Manchester, close to Dorset and Pawlett. Five ski resorts within 35 minutes - Stratton, Bromley, Okemo, Pico and Killington. Complete privacy at the end of a town maintained road; bordered on three sides by thousands of acres of forest. The home is set above a landscaped, spring-fed pond stocked with trout. The home is set 2,000 feet high with beautiful mountain and meadow views. There is trail access through the wooded property for hiking, snowmobiling and 4 wheeling. The spectacular fall colors are as good as anywhere in the country. Our home is fully furnished with living room containing floor to ceiling stone fireplace, dining room, fully stocked kitchen for cooking and entertaining. There are two bedrooms and one full bath on main level. The upper level contains a master suite with a full bath and a furnished loft which can be easily converted into an office or additional sleeping area. For the privacy and comfort of your guests there is also a separate wing which has a foyer, full bath, two bedrooms and a fully furnished loft with a bed. The garage has an entrance into the lower level which has a large game room which includes a full size pool table, game table, full wrap around bar and wet bar. Lower level has storage with washer and dryer

Home may be rented for foliage, ski season,holidays or summer season and may also be rented with an option to buy.

The home is a short ride to Manchester which is the place to be for outlet shopping and great restaurants. In the opposite direction is Rutland which is a large city where all the large stores are there for your shopping and dining convenience. One mile from the home is Chipman Stables which offers all season trail riding into spectacular mountain views. Also, for convenience is the nearby Danby Four Corners Store which has everthing from hiking booths to a gallon of milk.
