Dara (NZ) We stayed at Nada's place a 2 nights, wished we could stay for longer. Her place is in a great location just outside the walls, clean and cosy. Nada was lovely, went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommended!!!!
Erin, This was our last stop in Croatia. And we couldn't have asked for more. Our host Nada was fantastic, as was her husband...and their sweet sweet dog, Blondie! We arrived by car to Dubrovnik on a rainy Friday night (don't do it - it's impossible to park!), and both Nada and her husband were so helpful in helping us find parking. They moved their car in order to show us and make sure we found a parking spot where we wouldn't get ticketed - and by doing that, they lost their valuable parking spot! Tanja's directions to Nada's place was very detailed as well - although arriving at night in the rain, we had no trouble finding the place. The place is new, clean, and really charming with Nada's personal touches. You can tell she really cares about the place, as well as the comfort of her guests. The garden was beautiful and perfect for relaxing, away from the bustle of the tourists. Nada sat with us a couple times, shared some wine with us, and told us many personal stories about her life in Dubrovnik. That experience was priceless. The location of the place is perfect - right outside of the old town walls, and right down the street from the bus stop that takes you to other towns, as well as the airport. Next time we visit Dubrovnik, this is definitely the place we'll stay! Thank you Nada!! Erin
Leyla; This was undoubtedly the highlight of our Croatian vacation! Mrs Nada, our host could not have been kinder or more accommodating! On arrival she met us in the street outside and helped us navigate the difficult one way road system in Dubrovnik to return our rental car and then warmly welcomed us with a toast in the beautiful garden with amazing views of the old town. The apartment is completely private and beautifully decorated so that it feels really homely and inviting. Everything we needed was there and we slept so well as whilst it's only 5 mins walk from the entrance to the old town, it is so quiet and peaceful and the air is fresh. Mrs Nada chatted to us in the garden each day and gave us great recommendations about Dubrovnik as well as booking our bus to Montenegro which massively helped us out! We also loved the family dog, Blondie who was hanging out in the garden with us. This really is a home away from home and we will be coming back next year!
