Description of the Duck vacation home rental

This property is located in Duck NC only 200 yds from the Ocean, in the private community of Oceancrest. The Home is equipped with a Built in Swimming Pool, Foosball table, Hot Tub and much more! There are 3 master suites with King size beds and private baths. The other bedrooms have 2 twin beds, 1 set of bunk beds with a pull out trundle and a recently remodeled queen bed. The home has internet service and DVD and VCRs. The kitchen is completely stocked with all the needed appliances to cook great meals! There are two outdoor showers to help you rinse off when you return from the beach. The House has decks on the top(3rd) floor as well as the 2nd floor. You are a small walk away from the town of Duck and minuetes away from many activities in the area.

Area Information

The area of Duck is very quaint and upscale! The town has all the amentities one would expect for the area, great restaurants, great small shops, and even a park to relax and take walk in. The town is located on the Currituck Sound so you have great views of the sound as you drive through the town and spend time in the area. The Outer Banks are full of various water sports, golf, and sight seeing activities. If you enjoy fishing the Outer Banks is the place for you, you can fish right on the beach or drive to the Oregon Inlet and Charter a boat to go deep sea fishing, we have caught Marlin and Tuna in the waters around the Outer Banks. The area is clean, the beaches are the best on the east coast and the people are freindly and happy. Come join us in the Outer Banks!

Great Location

July 24, 2012

House had a great floor plan and was a short walk to beach and an easy walk to town. Very convenient. Plenty of room for kids to have their own space and uncongested neighborhood. Pool area was nice but needed some yard maintenance. Furniture had been updated and a big screen TV. Good house for kids - not overly fancy but clean and functional.

1st Family Vacation to OBX!!

Although I have been to the OBX before with my husbands family, this was the 1st trip for me with my family. Since my family is much larger, we needed a larger home. The house worked out perfectly!! There was enough room for everyone, big and small, comfortably. The house had everything we needed. It felt like home for a week. The pool was terrific and the walk to the beach was such a short distance. The Realty staff were friendly and so accomdating. We look forward to returning for future vacations. We had a very lovely stay, the house was great. Short walk to the beach which made it very convenient being we had 6 teenagers. Great ammentities with pool table, pool, lots of decking, yard, Kitchen fully equipped! Very happy they allowed pets at the house and on the beach.
