Description of the Duck vacation home rental
The tan may fade but the memories will last a lifetime!

Thank you for your interest in the Saltaire Victorian Mansion a true Carolina Classic.

We have fantastic low introductory rates for our first season in order to build a good repeat customer base for next season.

We run a Friday to Friday week in order to save you wasted hours in the weekend traffic. The entire island (400,000+) turns over on Sat & Sun and is funneled into 2 roads. You'll coast in on Friday, do your shopping and be hanging around the pool while the other 400,000 are stuck in traffic.

The Saltaire Home sits on a beautifully landscaped acre in the heart of the quaint Duck Village. With the large trees and superb landscaping you feel as if your destination is really a secluded country estate. Our prime location is directly across the street from the magnificent shops in all the OBX. Our road ends in a cul-de-sac with private beach access.

Outside relax at the pool or in the built in pool Jacuzzi. Enjoy refreshing beverages at the outdoor bar or sip them in the poolside Gazebo. Meander in the gardens and relish an old fashion game of croquet or badminton.

Below is a email I just received from a guest.

Wow! What a beautiful home! We had a great time at the Saltaire! It’s really decorated elegantly, but at the same time makes you feel at home. I can see why a lot of people get married there (it’s a photographers dream)! From the relaxing pool area to the wrap around porch with balustrades, it truly is one of Duck’s finest homes.

My dad finally got to go with us this year and really enjoyed staying at the Saltaire and walking to the shops. It was a lot of fun being able to walk to the shops and walk the boardwalk (the sunsets were awesome)! i am ready to book for next year.
