Fantastic Vacation Condo

“ Excellent ”
January 18, 2015
We had a fantastic stay at the Captain's Quarters. The condo had everything we needed to make our stay feel like we were right at home. Plus, we had the water right out our back door. We had the choice of eating inside on the patio that was glassed in by full width patio doors, eating outside on our picnic table of relaxing on the over the water deck and chairs. We would sit out on the deck and watch the dolphins swim up and down the canal in front of us. The kids enjoyed catching fish off the deck's dock. Having the boat was great. We could head out to the "sinkhole", numerous little islands or Honeymoon State Park and all offered protection from waves on the Gulf of Mexico. The condos were within walking distance of eateries, shopping, groceries, the beaches and most anything we needed. It was only 2 miles to the quaint downtown of Dunedin and just a few miles away from the sponge docks of Tarpon Springs and the beaches of Clearwater. Janet and Alex were great hosts and thank you. Next time we are back in the Tampa area to visit the grandkids, we will definitely be looking to spend more time at the Captain's Quarters.

Brilliant Holiday, Wonderful Property

“ Excellent ”
December 18, 2014
We have just returned from a 12 night stay at Nautical Landings where we stayed in The Helm - this was a beautiful condo and everything was as described - the views where breathtaking and we had breakfast on the balcony and saw a dolphin swim right by and a stingray. The pass provided for Honeymoon Island was greatly appreciated and watching sunsets from the Dunedin Causeway were lovely - you could even walk to the Causway and into Dunedin via the Pinellas Trail which is close to the property so you didn't need to rely on the car all the time. We used the netflix in the condo and this was great and we were met at the property by Terri and she was great. You really would have a great time if you chose this place to stay. We hope to return in the future.

Great Seaside Retreat

“ Excellent ”
May 19, 2014
We stayed at this apartment for two months this winter and had a wonderful time. We could walk out of the apartment every morning and walk the causeway that goes over to the Honeymoon Island State Park. We found the apartment itself quiet and comfortable. Most of people in the apartment building are regular residents who were friendly and helpful. Nearby is the Pinnellis bike path, so you can bike to the little town of Dunedin without going on the major highway. There are plenty of shops nearby and great restaurants and bars to visit within a short drive. We would definitely return for another stay!

Wonderful place to stay, but not good for fishing

“ Very Good ”
September 4, 2014
The cottage itself is very nice and roomy. However, the pier was under water, and fishing isn't allowed on the banks (plus, the flora was too tall to have successful fishing offshore. If you don't care about fishing, it's a great place.
