Relax beyond the tension line in this 5 bedroom, 3 full bath, full log home retreat. This incredible cabin sits elevated above the channel between Eagle and Otter lakes to boast the tranquil lake view of the northwoods. Also enjoy the view while relaxing on one of the chairs or rockers surrounding the stone firepit. All five bedrooms accommodate two guests. The master suite located on the loft offering a king mattress, 2 bedrooms located on the main level offering queen mattresss and 2 bedrooms located in the finished lower level offering queen mattresses as well. This spectacular property features a stone wood burning fireplace on the main level, comfy,thick carpeting,slate tile and the warmth of full logs throughout. Spacious living area with cathedral ceilings, an open concept kitchen, custom pine cabinetry and a wall of glass that allows entry to a surrounding deck that offers plenty of room to spread out and entertain guests.

Family Reunion 2012

We rented this stunning house for a week in September for a family reunion. The grounds and the home are beautiful, with gorgeous views from the back yard and the dock. Even though the weather wasn't terribly cooperative during our stay, the house is inviting and comfy and we had a wonderful time. One (nice weather) day we rented a pontoon from a nearby marina, and tooled around the chain of lakes. It was grand! During our stay, we saw many bald eagles, deer, red foxes, and even a porcupine. The town of Eagle River is very close by for anything you may need. All around memorable vacation. A couple suggestions - have an information sheet with trash/recycle pick up information, boat rentals, fishing gear, etc.. That would have been great. A list of recommended area resaurants and the fare they serve would be helpful. (Although the meals we did have out were very good.)
