Description of the Earp vacation cottage rental

Located on the Colorado River on the California side, just minutes from Parker, Arizona. Emerald Cove Resort has a sandy beach and is a boater's paradise with a triple-wide boat launch on-site with watercraft rentals nearby. Relax at one of the 3 covered pools (2 adult, and 1 children's wading pool.) or enjoy the numerous activities at the clubhouse. A short drive away and you will be on the golf course or at the BlueWater casino. Fishing, water-skiing, rock-hounding, or just lounging around the large covered pool makes your vacation just the way you want it to be. River Rats Kids' Club is always a safe place for your kids to play. Drop your children off with the Activity Director for a day of fun!

We had a great time staying in this cottage. The only problem we ran into was the gas grill was out of propane when we really wanted to grill and were told we could not get any until the next day. :-( Other than that everything was great! Very Clean! Water pressure was even good!

The best spot on the resort...small but just right

I didn't expect what I was seeing in the picture. But that's what I got.The cottage was great! It was small but it was perfect for the four of us plus we had friends and family come out and hang out on the full cottage-length furnished patio. We were there for the Parker Tube Float. It was the perfect starting point for us and we walked our tubes right down to the river and loaded everything up. It's a perfect spot to wake up to for a wonderful view of the river. Although we didn't have water for about 30 minutes on the day we were trying to check out (due to a someone driving over a spicket) it was not a big deal and they fixed it right away. My main issue was trying to check out and clear the cottage. Upon check-in the lady said to give the gate a call and they will send someone out to 'clear' the cottage so I can receive my deposit back. But when I did, the attendant had no idea what I was talking about and I had to keep calling back to check to see if she found out the answers. At first she told me she couldn't return the deposit from there. But once she found someone more familiar with the process, all went well. They cleared the cottage ratherly quickly (after someone who knew what they were talking about got involved), returned my deposit and we were on our way home. One more thing was, they initially told us to bring our own linens and towels. But the place is stocked with them. Although, I prefer my own linens anyways, everything seemed very clean. The water was hot, the A/C worked great, the seating was comfortable, the appliances worked well, and they supplied everything from the dish soap to the paper towels and TP. For the price, there isn't much comparable on such a big weekend in Parker. Every one knows how much others jack up the prices on rooms around the area during holidays and big river weekends. I truely got a steal on this one. I hope they keep it that way. I would definitely love to stay here again. Having been born and raised in the area and come back to visit, this is the best place I've stayed. The only downside is the distance from town (about 6-7 miles.) But if you have a boat, you can dock right outside and make your way to all the river bars and the casino.

Wife wanted to go to the River for her B-day so I picked Emerald Cove Resort.....couldn't have been better!!! Water front, great amenities, great resort, can't wait to go back!!!
