Description of the East Aurora vacation cottage rental

This 1800s colonial inn located just south of the historic village of East Aurora,NY has a lot to offer in a quiet country setting. All rooms in this lower unit have new paint and the floors have been refinished. The larger bedroom has a queen sized bed with a dresser and television. The smaller bedroom has a full bed with a dresser. Both beds have new mattresses and linens.The kitchen has everything needed to cook a full dinner for six or just pop a tv dinner in the microwave. Brand new bathroom with shower. Very cozy living room for lounging.
Relax on the covered porch and listen to all of natures beautiful sounds. Take a walk across the bridge to the Old Orchard Inn restaurant for some fine dining with a "semi-casual" atmosphere.

The village has an old fashioned theatre, a five & dime shop, some really great restaurants and a relaxing atmosphere. Trout fishing yards away,awesome fall foilage,rear deck with a great view. Large parking area in rear for trailers,large yard with tent sites,laundry area,outdoor grill and plenty of outdoor chairs. Small stream runs through the property. Bring your snowmobiles or cross country skis in the winter.

Just a few hundred yards away is a marked snowmobile trail that links with other trails. Kissing Bridge ski resort is a 15 minute drive, Holiday Valley ski resort in Ellicottville is a 45 minute drive. Emery park is just down the road for xcountry skiing,hiking or picnicking. Set in an area of rolling hills and big trees,this is a great escape from the city.

Area Description

Located in a country setting but a few minutes to the historic village of East Aurora. When the fall season arrives you will sure love the area with all the trees and the cool breezes blowing through the hills. The area recieves heavy snowfall amounts in the winter for skiers,snowmobilers and sleders. There is an old fashioned five and dime store, Vidler's on Main Street. Take a few steps more and enjoy a cup of java at the very popular Taste Cafe which is next to our favorite restaurant Tantalus. Darien Lake theme park is a 15 minute drive, Buffalo 30 minutes, Kissingbridge ski resort 15 minutes,Holiday Valley ski resort 45 minutes,Niagara Falls 45 minutes, Ellicottville 45 minutes, Rochester 50 minutes,Letchworth state park 50 minutes, Allegany state park 1 hour, Arcade & Attica railroad 30 minutes.

Check In: 3 p.m.
Check Out: 11 a.m.
Deposits: A deposit of $100 per week of stay is required to guarantee requested dates. We will refund deposit upon a cancellation if your dates are reserved again. We accept money orders sent to : Frank D'Andrea PO Box 421, East Aurora, NY 14052. We also accept paypal payments. Please call for the email address.
Other Fees: Max. 4 adults,2 children. Additional adults or children are $15 extra per person per night. Peak season starts June 1st and ends September 15th. Holidays are peak season rates.

Loved this cottage. Rooms were big and yard was large. Very clean and comfortable. Loved that he has some tea and coffee and cream there for us to use. Bed and pillow were so comforatble.

East Aurora was everything we wanted and more. I was plesantly surprised by all the little niceities that were left for us to enjoy. Just a short drive to Niagra, Letchworth Park, AAA Baseball and gorgeous views.

This lovely renovated floor of a two-story home was a perfect "home base" for my family while we visited East Aurora. It is a short drive from the town, and it easily accommodated two couples. The home is steps away from the Old Orchard Inn. We didn't visit the restaurant this trip, but we loved it when we went there for my cousin's wedding reception. The owners of the cottage were extremely helpful and eager to please. I would recommend this property if you are looking for a comfortable home away from home for your visit. East Aurora's main road was under construction during our stay, but there was plenty of parking available for us to park and then explore the village on foot.
