Description of the East End vacation villa rental
Perched on the hillside overlooking the sailing marina, the aquamarine ocean and the Reef nine hole golf course, Frigate House faces to the Northeast, and catches the Trade winds which keep the temperatures cool and balmy. Ease into the pool or lounge on the 120ft long wooden patio deck with a cool drink. This is St. Croix at its best! The Milky Way puts on a show each night over your head, promising a sunny vacation day ahead.
Frigate House has 3 private master bedroom suites, each tastefully furnished and decorated. All the bedrooms have French doors opening to the patio, with louvered side panels or windows to catch the breeze at night.
The oversized great room has all the amenities you could wish for at the end of the day at the beach or roaming the island. A large gourmet kitchen that opens to the living and dining room, and a fully equipped entertainment center with comfortable seating provides everyone a chance for relaxation.
Frigate House offers convenient amenities right in its own neighborhood. The nine-hole golf course you see in the valley below your deck is handy whenever you 're ready to tee off and a gourmet convenience store is adjacent to it. There is a great choice of restaurants to content all tastes and, directly across from the golf course, you 'll find a beach and Duggan 's Reef restaurant, one of St. Croix 's favorites for seaside ambiance and freshly-caught seafood. Looking for nightlife? Continue east around the bend a few miles and you 'll arrive at the Divi Carina Bay resort and casino, or head west into Christiansted to enjoy the boardwalk and innumerous restaurants.

Area Description
St. Croix is speckled with sugar mill ruins that tell tales of history past, art festivals are always on-going, the drive through the rainforest is soothing and, of course, the view of the ocean with its ever-changing palette of blues and turquoises is breathtaking. East end is quite hilly and steep, as is the north side from Christiansted west. From the north side hills a fairly even plain slopes down to the south coast: this was the prime sugar land on the island. Old Christiansted is a hop to the West; one hundred years ago it was a busy port, shipping sugar, lumber, spices and more to Europe.
