This Cape Cod Cottage is clean and comfortable vacation rental in the Maravista section of East Falmouth (Teaticket Ma). The property is steps away from a beautiful salt water bay beach and boating dock. Located in a Quiet, Family, Child safe neighborhood, surrounded by picturesque wetlands and bike/walking path which leads to a Nantucket Sound ocean beach . This two-story cottage has two bedrooms, full bath with a tub, enclosed outside h/c shower. Offering a Queen size and three twin beds that sleeps up to five guests. The cottage also boasts of Internet Broadband Access, cable television, VCR,DVD, kitchen with microwave oven, coffeemaker, toaster and all the utensils, outside gas barbecue grill, patio, picnic table, and lawn furniture for those looking to cookout or just relax outside.

Only steps to a clean salt water bay beach, the cottage is convenient for swimming, boating, and fishing great location for Kayaking in the Bay. Public boat launch a few streets away. Other popular activities in the area include tennis, deep sea fishing and windsurfing. Falmouth offers four nearby golf courses and numerous fine eateries, lovely boutiques and theaters. Downtown is only three minutes away by car, and 15 minutes to nearby Woods Hole with its famous Oceanographic Institute and Marine Aquarium, which are easily accessible by both car and bicycle. The scenic Falmouth harbor is home to the 'Island Queen', one of the ferries that runs between the mainland and Martha's Vineyard (a must see day trip).

Great location

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. We had talked to friends about joining us and, in the end, we're glad they didn't. It was very comfortable for 2 adults and it might have been a little tight with 1-2 small children but it definitely would not have worked for 4 adults. Very clean, the kitchen was well-equipped and we were thankful for the 2 fans available. The queen bed was the perfect firmness for us! Cable TV was helpful on rainy days but we spent most of our relaxing time out on the patio under the umbrella or down at Falmouth Heights beach - which was a reasonable 10-15 minute walk. Loved the area as it was quiet but still close to everything we wanted to see & do. It's a sweet little getaway.

What a great week on the Cape. The Keefes were wonderful hosts. Just minutes to Town, minutes to the public beach and a stone throw away from the bay. Loved the private beach area and the cottage was cozy and very well maintained. I would go back in a heart beat.

Perfect cottage

This was a perfect little cottage. Right near the bay - 3-400 feet. The beach is down the road a piece from the public town beach. 5 mnutes to the main street of Falmouth, 5 minutes to the Island Queen, it is perfectly situated. The Keefes are lovely and accommodating. the cottage has evreything you need and is very clean and comfortable. Particularly in the evening with breezes from the water. I highly recommend this.

The Cape

This was a wonderful little place to stay on the Cape. Our cottage was clean and had all we needed, including gas grill, internet and cable television. The neighborhood is perfect for a family with young children; just steps away from the bay and a short walk or bike ride to the ocean. The Keefes were very friendly and helpful. We were a short bike ride or car ride from a great fresh fish market and grocery shopping. We rode the Shining Sea Bike Trail from Falmouth to Woods Hole...the views along the ocean were spectacular and the ride easy for a 9 year old. We took the ferry out of Falmouth to Martha's Vineyard and had a great time. I would highly recommend this lovely cottage, especially for families!
