Description of the East Hampton vacation home rental
4 bedroom, 3 full bath home on a private lot in a quiet Springs neighborhood. 5 minute walk to Gardiner's Bay beach, perfect for swimming, fishing or sunbathing; 15 minute drive to ocean beaches. Also near nature preserves and trails; kayaking nearby. Enjoy watching the backyard birds while toasting the moon in the privacy-screened hot tub.
Fully furnished house with open living room leading to eat-in kitchen with granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances. Sliders lead to back deck with hot tub.
Large dining table sets 6-8 in kitchen; living room has a woodburning fireplace and TV. First floor also has a den/office/4th bedroom, laundry room with new washer/dryer and a full bath.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a queen bed, a huge walk-in closet and a private bath with a clawfoot tub, glass enclosed shower and double sink vanity. There are 2 additional bedrooms on the second floor: one has a double mattress, the other has 2 twin beds. They share a bathroom, equipped with a shower/tub combination.
Area Description
Area is surrounded by bay beaches - 1/4 to 1 mile away - great for kids and kayaks. The Atlantic beaches are 4 miles away. East Hampton's Main Beach has consistently been rated by many travel and vacation magazines as one of the world's top 10 beaches.
There is a general store about 1 mile away that opens early in the morning and a few local stores (pizza, wine, fish) about 1 1/2 miles away. World class shopping (Tiffany, Coach, BCBG, Tahari to name just a few) plus unique boutiques are available in East Hampton, along with local shops in surrounding quaint towns.
The Hamptons boasts many fine restaurants - from simple beach shacks to 5 star, white table cloth restaurants - something for every budget and appetite. The house is not far from Montauk Point, with it's famous lighthouse and day fishing charters.
