There is nothing wrong with this cottage, it is well kept and the owner is nice, I just felt it could have been better value. The place was clean, but still had sand on the floor when we first arrived. Linens were provided, but left in a garbage bag and we had to make our own beds. The cottage sleeps six, but for some reason there were only 5 dining chairs. Again, nothing horrible, but for $1500 for the week, I was expecting a bit better. This was our first time on the Cape, and we paid a bit more to stay in a place right on the beach. However as we found out, the water on the North side of the Cape is very cold and not that comfortable for swimming. We found the water on the South side of the Cape to be over 10 degrees (Celsius) warmer and so ended up driving 20-30 minutes to go to the beach each day.
